getting my niece from philipines

hi everyone,

i hope there is atleat one who can help me. I am currently 10 yrs visa holder. just had my baby a month ago. i was wondering if i can get my 18 year old niece from philippines to babysit my baby for atleast 6 months. but, were not biologically related at all. because were both adopted but both grew up in the same family anyways. also including we have different last name. we dont have pictures together. because i left philippines 9 years ago. the only proof i have is our conversation in fb to check them out occacionally. do you think i can get hope for my situation? is there any possible that she can get tourist visa to come to US?

Even is she could get a visitor visa, that would not allow for her to child care.

You can not sponsor her so need to look locally.

thanks for enlightening me. we couldnt afford bbysitter here .I still prefer her. easier and feel comfortble. but thanks again though. =)

Even if there is a "nanny" visa you will still be required by law to pay her a US wage, not Philippine wage. ?

Sorry, but you will have to look elsewhere for childcare.

It's illegal to work on a tourist visa - even to babysit a relative's baby for free.

There is no visa she can get to come over to work as your babysitter.
