Yep, that would be cool, especially since we're not allowed any electronics, so listening to music will not be an option! That usually calms me down... I know I'll be SO nervous, even though I know I have nothing to worry about, because it's genuine relationship... It's crazy how we're being scrutinized and judged on our relationship... I mean, I understand why they do it, but still, it seems ridiculous when the relationship is genuine.

Why does it seem ridiculous? How can they really know? It's easy to lie on paper, and not as easy to lie in person. :) But there's a reason why Canada is low fraud for the most part.

I guess I must have expressed myself badly, what I meant to say is even though I have nothing to hide, and even though our relationship is genuine, I’ll still be really nervous about being asked about our relationship and being scrutinized about it, even though we have tons of proof of relationship, and that we are completely in love with one another… I guess this is me being overly nervous!

They're easy questions. It's like having a conversation with someone. You don't feel scrutinized. Just think of all the people, friends or family or strangers, that have asked you questions about how your LDR works. It's the same sort of thing. I was asked, "So how do you communicate if you only saw each other eveey 3 months?" I said, "Well we pretty much live on Skype. We even sleep with it on." He said, smiling, "Oh that brings another question to mind but it's not appropriate." I laughed.

I honestly was not worried about the interview. I worried about remembering all the bits of paper we needed but not the outcome because I know I have a genuine relationship. I just knew it would be approved and it felt like a formality. It may not be the best thing to do but it helped me be relaxed and happy.
