Letters to Russia

Morning,

Anyone sent out any letters to their SO to Russia? I was just wondering how much is the stamp and whether or not I can use few of the 39c stamps or they must be International stamps.

I want to send few pictures to Moscow and I am not sure how much the stamp should be, i am trying to avoid long lines in postal office and buy a stamp at their vending maching ( if it's working)

Where are you now? I have never been in a country where I needed anything other than regular stamps to send international mail.

A standard envelope - under a certain weight - may be 84 cents to Russia.

But with pictures your letter may weigh more. You pay (to anywhere) depending on how much you're sending.

Also, if you send your letter express than it will cost you a lot more - but you're paying for security and speed.

It's up to you.

If you want want it to get there and get there in a timely manner, and know it's going to get there...then it's best to send it US Postal Express Mail.

I mailed a letter regular mail to my fiance just to see how long it would take for her to receive it...16 weeks ...Express Mail...11 days, but a lot more expensive.
