Helllo VJ members, I need some Help please, so I called the embassy number today to get information on my K1 petition and the person I spoke to said they were able to schedule my appointment on the phone so I went ahead and scheduled the appointment, the thing is I never received an appoint letter or the packet 3 with any instruction but the man at the embassy said I was ready and scheduled my appointment which is great, but now im confused because I don't know what packet 3 is, do i have to mail any documents to the embassy or will my fiancée have to take those in person like the I-134, also is the confirmation letter with the barcodes considered the interview letter. please any help will be much appreciated. Call them back and tell them you need the emailed sent with the checklist of the documents you need..........Every document will be colleceted and the interview......so if you are not going to be at the interview then you will have to send the documents to your fiancee

you dont need to call them back. packet 3 and 4 have been combined. its gives you step by step instructions. you can download it here.

http://bogota.usembassy.gov/formfees.html...... all the info you need is here. and yes, your confirmation letter with the barcode is all you need, when your fiancee fills out the ds-260..they have all they need. follow the instructions in the packet and you wil be good!!
