One time in Hawaii they invaded my oatmeal container. I didn't have anything else for breakfast and I got tired of picking the ants out. I just pretended it was brown sugar.

Get an HRM if you haven't already. That goes a long way to giving you an indication of how many calories you're actually burning.

Yep, that can happen. There are certain fry foods that totally turn me off after not having them for a while. I'm the same with regular soda, can't touch the stuff anymore.

i can't drink soda at all. regular or diet. i recently gave up blue monsters because i was drinking two a day - on top of three or four cups of coffee. i didn't understand why people said monsters taste like antifreeze until i gave in a bought myself one the other day.

I've cut way back on the diet soda. I used to have 3 or 4 a day, now it's 3 or 4 a week. Still have my 2 or 3 cups of joe in the am though. I've never had a Monster or any of those other energy drinks.

(don't tell anybody but the last jar of honey i bought was infiltrated by ants. i scooped most of them out but i bet there were little ant legs and such still in the jar when i put it back in the cupboard. it was expensive honey, dammit!)

For some reason ants didn't bother me. It's like they're just one step up from bacteria. But if a fly lands on the edge of my sandwich, I'll throw the whole thing away.

That first 10-15 is the easiest. It seems to stop there for some reason. At least it has for me. I've been fluctuating between the 15-20 lb mark for two months.

Just dropped 15lbs in 3 months. I plateaued at about 6. Started taking AMP by GNC to get me over the hump. Make sure your cardio is on point. And watch the calorie intake. Myfitnesspal works wonders.

That's usually the way it goes. That's why I gave myself plenty of time. If I can lose a pound a week, which isn't too hard, I should be good by June. We just bought a new Nordic Track Recumbent bike, that thing is kicking my ar$e.

To lose a lb a week, you're looking at about 2500 calories a week burned. Just watch the eating and you'll do fine.

I was doing the myfitnesspal as well as using runkeeper to track my runs. I'm only doing runkeeper now. The problem is I have to travel and it's hard to eat right and exercise while on the road. I'm gonna keep it up though. The freezing cold weather doesn't help.

That's the trick. I refuse to run outside in this mess. Glad the gym here has 24 hour access so I can go at 0430 and be done by the time I have to be at work at 0700. Eating right is always tricky since all the best tasting food is what's going to kill you. It's hard when you can't work out since you'll start getting lazy and eating whatever. That's how I blew up.

My cardio range daily is 1100+ calories. You should look into supplements, they might help kick start your metabolism.

Yeah I ran a half marathon beginning of December and have kinda putzed around on and off since then. I hate the gym thing. I like to be outside. 1100 seems really low. I was shooting for 1500 and that seemed kinda low.

If I remember correctly you are or were a smoker. Have you been able to quit?
