So the interview was at the Abu Dhabi Embassy today.

My finance was given a pink slip and told to pick and told to pick up her passport on next Monday. BUT....

The woman conducting the interview was very stern and rude. She did not as any of the normal questions but only questioned the beneficiary's religion, divorce and that we dated before divorce was final. All this was done on the speaker at a window so everyone there could hear. She was loud and ended the interview saying something like "Are you sure all these documents are real and what you told me is true or you will be banned for life from the US." No you're approved or anything like that just "pick up your passport at 2PM on the date shown on the slip." CEAC is showing updated today but status is still ready.

SO ARE WE APPROVED?

Also note they do not let K-1 petitioners in, must wait outside unless they have emailed you and asked you to attend and then you have to present the email. Same for C-1 Visa, spouse not allowed in.

Hello, most people working at US Embassy are rude!!! Yes you guys are approved! Congrats on that! I just got a heart breaking call from the US embassy today, said they can't print my visa cause my passport cover is dettached. Which was funny cause it was in a good condition when I hand it to them and they even accepted it on the day of my interview!!!!

It was last January 26, 2015.. They checked my passport during the interview, and nothing was wrong. Until today, I cried a lot believe me. I saw the status on ceac changed to issued today. :(

Do you think once I send my renewed passport it will go directly to printing section? And not to administrative process again? :(

Yes, you have been approved. It is always a good sign when they keep your passport and if they didn't mention that you need to give them something more before they give you the visa it's all good. When I was getting my F-1 student visa I didn't not have enough postage on the envelope they would send my passport back in I only had to fix that and they gave me the passport.

If you had been denied right there they would not have taken your passport.
