I m the petitioner. I had a joint sponsor and on the joint sponsor's i-864, i have written individual income of joint sponsor's husband. Now they are asking for joint sponsor husband's i-864A form, signed and dated. I am confuse on part 2 as it says that I, the Sponsor. Who is the sponsor? Does it the main sponsor which is me or the joint sponsor? and on part 3 I, the household member...is it the joint sponsor's husband? Please reply. I have to submit this form ASAP. Help would be appreciated. Please please i need any help on this.. Thank you

You need to fill I 864 with all your information ( including household), your individual income and part 6. 13.a. that is taxable income ( in case you are filling 1040 line 22 will come in part 6. Item 13.a).

Now you have joint sponsor she has to fill I-864, so her individual annual income. Now part 6 item 6a must have her husband's name, since she filling tax 1040 with her husband and it includes his income then part 6 (item 13.a,b,c) will reflect exactly on her husband's part 11 a,b, c of 864.

Basically you need to fill I-864

Your joint sponsor I864 and husband I864A. Hope it is clear

Part 2 of I-864A

Suppose person A is sponsor

Person B is joint sponsor Who shares income with person C

So person C will fill I-864A and part 2 Will have name of Person B

That is . I SPONSOR PERSON B

Person B also has to undersign ther peragraph

Number of immigrant 1 and name of immigrant

Thanks a lot for instant reply. I have done and filled out the form. Sending out tomorrow at the drop off location. How long does it take them to issue visa since they only need I864A. I have attached a photo copy of household member's w-2 2013 and also attached joint sponsor's w-2 213. They have filed joint tax return. I do not know why they are still asking me to give them 864A???

I cannot attach photo copy of w-2 214 since they have not received their forms yet. Would it be a problem?
