Bringing mother who doesn't want to stay

Hello,

My mother has been denied a visitors visa about 4 times. I'm a US citizen and she lives in Romania. I guess the only way she is going to be able to visit me is to petition her so she can get a green card and come that way. The only problem is that she doesn't want to live here. If she becomes a resident and stays for a while, then goes back to Romania she will lose her green card. If she loses her green card will she have a chance to receive some kind of visitor visa later (since she was already a green card holder and is obvious that she doesn't want to stay and is not a potential immigrant)? Is there any other way to solve this problem? Should I contact NVC and ask for suggestions/alternatives to the green card petition?

If she doesn't want to come and stay then maybe better for you to visit her often given the money and time you will put into it.

Yes you can , then she can request to turn the card in

for a visitors visa after if she still don't want to be

here, very likely but not garanteed

If she can visit every year she might not loose green card. She can also apply for reentry permit and stay back for two years in her home country.

You can certainly string it out, for how long is anybody's guess.

Obamacare would seem to make it a more expensive proposition.
