Can I type in I-129F, G-325a, and G-1145 forms?

The I-129f form I should just leave blank if it doesn't apply to me. Now I see the form states that.

So I'm assuming this also applies to g-325a as well?

Thanks.

Take a look at the Example Forms, easily accessible at the top of the forum page. In particular, the Form G-325A example: http://www.visajourney.com/examples/INS-Form-G-325A.pdf

Completed: K1/K2 (271 days) - AOS/EAD/AP (134 days) - ROC (279 days)

That's an older form expired in 2011. And that example contradicts with what others have written here.

Some parts of the form explicitly say to write "None" which I understand. But that example has fields where they put "None" even though the form did not say to put in "None".

My understanding is that with all the newer forms (129f, 325a), unless it explicitly says to write "None", we should just leave it blank?

Is this correct?

Hehe, now you see my confusion.

That form is exactly the same as the current edition found on the USCIS site for download right now. It has not been updated, so the example form here still works. The expiration of a form makes no difference to you. It is the edition that matters, and all previous editions of the form are accepted anyway.

http://www.uscis.gov/g-325a

Edition Date

02/07/13. Previous editions accepted.

There are a couple questions on the G-325A that say, 'If none, so state.' Those you must be sure to follow the instructions and put None, if that is the answer. The G-325A has no instructions on how to fill it out. You can put None or N/A throughout the form like the example here, or leave the ones blank that do not apply to you, unless it is one where it asks you to put none, if that is your answer.

You can type, handwrite or use a combination of the both. Most people I think type the information because it is easier, and some people will just handwrite things that don't fit when typing.

Not true. It can be signed in either blue or black ink.

Hi! I'm new here in the site and I'm confused with filling out the forms. We haven't really started the K-1 visa process yet and we're planning to submit it this week. My concern is, addresses here in the Philippines are usually very long and they don't fit in the box. So, it's ok to type the info that fit and handwrite the ones that don't or it is better to just add them as attachment?

Thank you so much!

You can handwrite the addresses if yours are really long. If it doesn't fit, then yes include as an attachment.

Yes you can print or type in the information. I know this might seem obvious, but make sure you are using the correct version of the forms and not outdated ones. The best way to get the correct version of the form is from the USCIS website

We typed everything up on the computer so whoever had to go through our case would not have to struggle with handwriting issues or something along those lines. I feel it is the safest way to do it, but make sure you sign everything in ink!
