Who knows, maybe all our letters got printed! Lol

Our date changed as well. This is the third one, so who knows?! it changed after they received his readiness form, his medical results, and now today.

When does your date start changing on the CEAC website? After it's arrived at the Embassy?

Our interview is on Wednesday (aaaah!!!) and our CEAC status hasn't changed since 1/20 (when the letter was mailed)...that is, until yesterday when the status date changed to Feb 4. And again today when it changed to Feb 5 (I check it just bc I'm slightly OCD now because of this whole crazy process). No idea why they would be touching it before the interview though? Is this common? (Please excuse my ignorance if it is...)

Do you think maybe every time you make an enquiry via email or phone, it pings your status update because somebody accessed your record?

Compare notes.

Who sent email requests? How many? Who spoke to NVC? Or had medicals or sent readiness forms. Make a chart and come up with some science. See if anything is consistent. Probably isn't but at least gives you something to do.

Or start filling out your AOS forms. They are paper forms so you can save the PDF and continue later when you have the rest of the info like wedding date, POE date and flight.

When they email me (in response to me using the contact form) the CEAC status changes however that doesn't seem to be the case when I talk to NVC.

I've already filled out all of my AOS forms (as much as I can so far).

Maybe I need a hobby... :help:

Yessss!!! How about making some handmade valentine cards? I will send you my address and you can mail us a frilly "Happy Valentines Day" wish. :P

I was hooked on checking status for NOA2, which you didn't get to experience so much. Then I realized it was just making me crazy and disappointed. So I pretty much abandoned checking anything for the rest of the Journey to citizenship.

Take a break and make my card. Hahahaha

I think I need a hobby, too. It's amazing how much one obsesses over having this information available (being able to check your status online)--USCIS was a frequent search last month, now it's the CEAC. I literally forced myself to go to the cinemas by myself on Tuesday so that I wouldn't bother stewing about 'should I call the NVC or not today.'

Funnily enough, a fellow VJer who shares the same NOA2 date and consulate text messaged me just as I sat down with my drink and popcorn notifying me she got her case number. So, you can only imagine what happened next-I was like a cat on a hot tin roof the whole time I was in the cinema willing the movie to just get on with it so that I could make that call.

*waves hand in the air* me too! I definitely need a hobby. Fortunately, two of my best friends are flying in from LA for the weekend for some PR stuff we have going on in NYC so I will be well occupied...until Sunday. When I'll be back to OCD status. (I should add OCD status at this point for me will be going over everything for the interview with my fiance leading up to Wed. :bonk: )

I feel like when this whole thing is over, I'll be sorta like a new person - with a new much higher tolerance level for patience. Because I am awful when it comes to waiting patiently.

Kas has to constantly tell me to chill out and breathe and to take everything in stride. God bless him for being so patient with me.

I think I'll be a different person once we are in the same time zone... some days are good where the time change and distance doesn't effect me all that much, but when I'm sat in my apartment alone, the loneliness tends to creep in pretty intensely.
