Well I just phoned NVC (beneficiary) and they were happy to talk to me. However, they said our interview has not been scheduled yet

I re-dialled about four times before it let me connect and didn't just tell me they were busy. Persistence is key I guess! It is boring though!

Yesterday, between 7am and 4pm CST, I called 27 times! I felt like I was calling in for a prize drawing (which isn't nearly as important as this!)

Gosh that sucks! I remember once I re-dialled 35 times and wanted to throw my laptop at something (was using skype credit!). It can be SO frustrating!

I'm not sure which is worse, calling and getting nothing or waiting for an email...and getting nothing.

Hey guys. Yes indeed the NVC staff are really nice and helpful. They confirmed that all necessary documents have been received and we are just now awaiting an interview date to be assigned from the embassy. I got through in like 20 minutes

When you go to your interview-does the beneficiary need to take the official copy of the NOA2, or will a front and back photocopy be sufficient?

I think a front and back copy will suffice that's what I provided

Question, I spoke with a rep at NVC this morning then checked the consular website and there was today's date. Would that cause the website to update or, does that mean it's a possibility his interview letter has been printed?

When I spoke to NVC this morning my CEAC date did not change. Hope that helps

Hmm good question. I have the original with me but may take a copy as well in case they want to keep it. Can't go losing the original!

I would hope they wouldn't keep it as you need to send it in with AOS forms! I'll just keep a copy of it for myself and give Kas the original and a photocopy.

That was my thinking also. Might be good to have both the original and a copy.

Maybe! Your fiances medical was after mine though and they haven't printed mine yet.
