At the end of the day its a book and a movie. It's not a religious experience. It's interesting to note the language you use to describe this movie, suggesting that there's only one correct way to look at it etc and that any other opinion is somehow synonymous with treachery or disparaging the military - this is suggestive of someone conditioned by propaganda.

Its a movie. People either like it or they don't. Either way that's fine, isn't it. If they don't like it, it's their prerogative. It's irrational to berate people for it, let alone try to link not liking a work of fiction with not being patriotic.
