Hi all,

Tomorrow is the big day for my visa interview.

Even though I'm the most organised person in the world, I found myself checking and double checking all the paperwork at least once a day for the past week.

Anyway, at the train station in Manchester now, taking the train to London and staying in the hilton hotel at Hyde park. Then tomorrow morning I'll be at the embassy EARLY...

Just curious if anyone else having their interview tomorrow, or maybe even staying in the same hilton. Could share a beer, because I know I need one lol...

There is a timeline search where you used to be able to search for that. It NEVER works properly for me any more. Don't know if it's broken or doesn't like the iPad.

You can choose London and "Detailed" search. Then in the date entries skip all but "visa interview". That should find anybody, any visa, interviewing in London.

To search for February 3 only, fill in 2015-02-02 and 2015-02-04. Then search. I tried and it gave me random people as far back as 2008 and didn't even pick up on you, who hits the date.

Try it here http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/filterlist.php?cfl=

I used to find that useful, but either it or I have a problem now :(

I just tried using it to see if anyone had their interview the same day as my fiance - sadly it doesn't seem to work properly (I'm on my laptop, not an ipad/phone). That would've been useful, lol

GOOD LUCK, OP! So excited for you! Remember to breathe! And please keep us posted on how it goes :)

I was the same..

But in the end, if you got all the paperwork sorted, and you're genuine then everything is a piece of cake...

Good luck!

I like how your review illustrates the conversational nature of the interview, not a grilling.

She asked me how I met my fiancé, to which I replied that I met her at my first business trip to the U.S.

She told me, "that was one lucky business trip" and smiled.

Congratulations.
