Hi Everyone!

I received my Visa already, i have question with the yellow envelope for those who have received their visa already, my yellow envelope has small open portion on the right upper corner it's like it's triangle cut. some of the paper works are showing but it is sealed with plastic. Is this really how it supposed to be look like?

Can I open the plastic pouch? Or i should just make a small cut? It says on the envelope i could open the plastic pouch but i just wanna make sure this won't cause anything.

Yes that is fine. That is exactly the way it comes. Seems strange that supposedly confidential files be packed that way, but that is exaclty what they do.

The plastic pouch contains your passport and visa, and you may open it and remove same.

Whatever you do, do not disturb the yellow manila envelope.

Take a razor blade and slit the pouch containing the passport wide enough to remove the passport. Do it gingerly not to disturb the other content.

That's what i exactly did. I Open the Plastic pouch an get my passport. So no need to worry even if I open the plastic pouch as long as the yellow envelope is not open right? I sealed the plastic pouch after i took my visa. Am I doing it right?

It doesn't matter if u open, removed or throw away the plastic pouch the important is do not touch or open the yellow envelope. But what I did to my visa packet is I take off the plastic pouch first to get the passport and make copies for visa summary then I put the plastic back again to avoid tearing/ or avoid folding it. ??

The yellow envelope is like a diamond paper that u have to really take care of ??

Does your envelope have Small triangular cut on the upper right corner too?

And I don't have Visa Data Summary? I'm K1 does it apply to us?

Yes all visa packet has a cut like that, visa summary is only for CR1 not for K1☺️

Did you open the Plastic Pouch and took out the yellow envelope ad put the Plastic pouch back or you just did a small Cut and took out your passport?

Took off all the plastic pouch and put back to make sure it's safe
