Good news

I just received email from NVC to continue the process and choose the agent and pay AOS

I received two email

First email: Choose an Agent (sent to my wife, applicant and cc me, the petitioner) with PDF NVC Welcome letter

2nd email: Invoice & Pay AOS to me and my wife

My PD: 26-SEP-2013

What is the documents I should have?

In the Document Cover Sheet has a lot of list

Should I get all those documents or what?

Please help

Also, I paid the AOS fee $120.00 and shows now in-process

I paid only AOS fee

It shows also below

june filers got touched by NVC BEFORE may filers and now same think october and some november filers before september filers, so for my part i have a big hope of big mvt next vb : bigining november of mid at least... my guess inchallah

No, I was not able to pay the IV fee. When I open IV fee it shows AOS fee

I only chose the agent and paid AOS fee.

I have a questions, Can you or anyone please answer me and help me on that:

1- form DS-260 has to be for the applicant only ? or Also for petitioner??

2- Required Documents like birth certificate,photocopy of passport is it for applicant only or both?

3- Police certificate of the applicant, Should I ask my wife to make one and send copy to me and attach it with the documents or what?

4- As well as the photographs of the applicant, Should my wife send me the photographs of her as new one or I can use the one that I had in I-130

DS 260 is an online immigrant visa and alien registration form, as the name implies it is for the intending immigrant, i.e the beneficiary. It would be available after I.V fees shows as "PAID"

Civil documents which includes two passport photographs, photocopy bio data of beneficiary's passport, photocopy of beneficiary's birth certificate, photocopy of marriage certificate, divorce decrees, police certificate etc, is for the intending immigrant to provide.

You can ask your wife to make a copy of police certificate and send to you, it is part of the documents to be included in the IV package.

I sent my recent passport to my husband, am not sure if the old passport would be accepted, it has been long we filed the petition,It won't hurt for her to send a recent passport. Good luck with the rest of the process. We were able to pay both fees maybe because we filed our petition through a law firm and skipped choosing an agent. What ever be the case am glad we paid both. Would update as soon as it changes to paid.

My husband just called NVC a while ago and still no luck, the operator said she can't tell why we haven't given the access to move further even just to fill up the ds261. She keeps on telling that our PD is still not current. Eventhough my husband already told her that based from the procedure we should be given enough time to move further before our PD becomes current

Can't understand anymore how do they process our papers, do they have a system...maybe at least they know to sort and check why some are allowed and some are not, just give a valid reason.

Hello,

No one truly understands how NVC works, please let him keep calling NVC until the give you answers. Either the applicant or the petitioner can call NVC. You can download magic jack for free internet calls. Keep calling, am hopeful you would be granted access soonest. I would keep checking until I hear the good news.
