Need help with properly paying the Filing fee

Hello everyone! I'm a new member, but me and my fiancee have been using these forums for reference ever since we started our K-1 Journey! Well actually we are just about to get started officially, we put together all the information and documents we need for the I-129F (I'll still end up triple checking everything). However, the part that i thought would be the easiest is becoming the only issue... The filing fee!

So i must have been lurking around for 2 hours trying to find a proper answer, but i didn't find anything "convincing enough". I was wondering if the check has to signed by me (I'm the petitioner in the USA)? For instance, i don't have a checking account open - so my parents kindly offered to write out the check to them, and say it's for me in the memo perhaps? Or do i personally have to sign this check for it to be accepted.

Doing a personal check seems more secure, quicker, and convenient than a money order. I will admit, I don't know how on earth a money order works, or how to get one. If i did get one: do I send it separately or with my I-129f? And is it true that it costs like an addition 170$ create a money order or have i misread?

Thanks for all the help! Really hope i can find some answers and look forward to hearing back :)
