Hi, I am sorry about your case.

I think there is no problem with your case, otherwise they would have contacted both of you to make you aware (My opinion).

I have seen so many different issues in regards to forwarding the applications from USCIS to NVC, NVC to Embassy and etc. MAYBE and somehow your case didn't get to the Embassy in Tunisia. Have you ever tried to contact NVC to make sure they sent your case? I have seen people asking for shipment confirmation and they provided it. Maybe you could request the same and track the shipment if still available on DHL website (Generally they put the name of the person who received your case - Of course it should be one of the US Embassy Employees or Third Party). I don't know if the NVC would do something about it if they did send your case (I guess once they send their ''job'' is completed and it is all under the Embassy responsibility).

Did you try to contact them more than one time and a while ago and never got back from them?

What I would do as an attempt (PS: I don't even know if it's recommended in Tunisia or not but here is pretty OK): They probably have a Facebook page and usually they answer the posts in a reasonable time manner. Maybe you could have the USC Petitioner asking them the best way to contact the Embassy (Appointment? E-mail? Letter and etc) and briefly explain that you have an application forward from the NVC 4 months ago but the beneficiary hasn't been contacted yet for the next steps. I don't know if it will be helpful but if they don't get back to you despite of your attempts I definitely don't know what else could be done.

Hopefully you will know soon!! Fingers crossed!!

You need to contact your embassy ASAP and find out what the hold up is.

My packet three was lost in the mail and I never received it. These things happen.

Tunisia embassy is horrible.

No, they will never answer you until they are good and ready to process your case. Only then will they pay attention to your emails.

They will never call you back.

When you call, ask to speak with the person who processes K1 visas.

I am in the exact same boat as you are so trust me it is not just your case.

I think it should be smoother now that we both have FINALLY received contact from them.

19-Sept-14: I-129F Delivered

23-Sept-14: NOA1 (I-797C ~ Texas Lockbox accepted I-129F)

Sent to California Service Center

3-Nov-14: Requested expedite by mailed letter with UN Human Rights Reports (Humanitarian Situation)

14-Nov-14: NOA2 (I-129F Petition Approved ~ E-mail & Text)
