I was the someone who got confirmation Jan 26. I would try calling again and trying to get a new rep. Depending on what they say, re-send or not. Try and get them to put in writing somewhere that they told you to re-send and then if you get a scan date for the orginal sending of your documents, call and try to talk to a supervisor to try and get the second sending ignored. It probably won't work, but I can't think of anything else.

Check your sent mail and quintuple check that you sent it to the correct address.

I would also, given that scan dates are assigned it seems for the day after you send the email, if you DO re-send, send it in several times in rapid succession (so within a fifteen minute burst) from different email providers in case there's some kind of filter messing things up.

Thank you for replying.

We tried again and we got the same rep again. She just said she talked to us just now and hung up on us. What are the chances of getting a new rep?

We sent it to NVCElectronic@state.gov. The email is listed on the website so we just copy and paste. We used gmail and the total attachments were around 4.5MBs per email. We cc'd ourselves and we received the email sent from gmail. Which email would be better?

I know NVC was closed last Monday to Wednesday and then again on this Monday. We are going to give it another weekend.

That very, very rude lady only said she doesn't see any confirmation the documents are received. Can the operators see all emails for EP or they have to wait until the confirmation email has been sent before they confirm? I really don't want to push back the scan date if we can avoid it :(

As far as I know, they can only see ones that have been scanned. My recommendation would be to keep calling back until you don't get that lady, to see if you can get someone who can at least give you an idea of how long it is currently taking (thanks to the snow days) to get confirmation for EP. If it comes down to it, ask to talk to a supervisor.

I'm sorry that lady treated you so crappily.

I also sent mine from gmail, but email glitches sometimes so I would be tempted, in your case, if you don't hear anything by mid-next week and don't have any idea how much longer you should wait, to send it from a bunch of email addresses just to be sure, because dang, this SUCKS.

Yeah. We are planning to call again on Monday (they aren't open tomorrow right?) and see if we get another person that can give us at least a date range for them to process emails for EP.

We did get a very helpful lady when we called about the IV bill in early Jan.

Bleh. We have our fingers crossed that the confirmation email might magically appears on Monday! :( The whole waiting game on NVC sucks. We are not even counting on getting CC on our first try. But still sucks so bad.

You guys are both very helpful.

S&A if you do call and they tell you a timeframe, would you mind posting it here? Because if they do give you one, mine will be even later as I submitted after you.

It's so hard not to stress about every single thing here. I'm trying not to worry that I've waited a week and a half for no reason, if they haven't received the email.

I am also in AP but have a second interview date coming up for hubby in March. Praying all goes well. Just wanted to say I feel the same way regarding the ppl working at NVC. I believe in killing with kindness. I've even wrote to them with compliments for everyone that was nice to me and got this in return

Dear Sir/Madam:

Hello and graphics-welcome-010883.gif to the thread.

Your in my prayers for a great second interview and Visa in hand. :)t5063.gif

I'm sorry I would send compliment also, never received anything in return.

I'm sorry I'm a horrible person but after what they did to us I have nothing good to say about them. I wish I could forgive and maybe I will in the future but right now I just can't. After lies and making us wait and wait forever I just have nothing good do say. :(

Dropping in to say hello! We have been in the US for 2 weeks exactly and are slowly settling in. Living at my parents' house while we look for a house and jobs. We bought a car last week, so have transportation without borrowing my parents' vehicles. They have made us feel so welcome and we are very comfortable at their house. Still feels like a vacation. I have applied for a couple of jobs, but not stressing yet, just enjoying time with family and friends. Our kids started school this week and are settling in well. I don't want them to get too settled though because when we move to a new house they will have to change schools again. They are only little, so shouldn't be too traumatic for them.

I haven't been on here forever, so not sure who is still around. Was thrilled to read about Sharksbelow case complete and so excited for Soloenta's upcoming interview!

Take care everyone and hang in there if you are still waiting on CC, it will come and your dream will come true too.

(L):luv::goofy:

AMANDDDDDDDDDDDDAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA OMG so happy to see you and happy to know everything is going so well. Seems like a lift time that I haven't seen you post and am just so happy right now.

Yes getting ready for the interview and I'm so scared please, please keep us in your prayers we all need all the prayers as possible. t5063.gif

Grrrr have tried for the second time to call and get my IV bill invoiced. Spoke with JR and he said there was nothing he could do. It takes up to 42 days to review the DS-261. I know a lot of others have had luck with this but I am getting discouraged that I am going to reach the right rep lol I REALLY hate calling. :clock::cry:

I know the feeling well used to upset my stomach but keep calling it's worth it in the end. God willing you'll get a good one that will help you out. Pray all goes your way my friend. t5063.gif

That's awesome! We had the same POE at the same airport! How odd is that?

Good to know everything is fine there, as well is here. God bless you and your family. :)

WOW how wonderful is this your here also and Amanda this will bring us all good luck I can feel it. :D Hugs my dear friend, miss you tons! t5063.gif

Has anyone emailed documents in Jan and received an email confirmation?

We emailed on Jan 16 and we still haven't received confirmation. I know someone submitted on Jan 11 and received an email confirmation on Jan 26. We are stressed out a bit since we called and a very rude lady kept saying we should just email them again. What should we do? Should we wait another week before calling them again!? :(

So sorry I don't know anything about Electronic filing but you might want to post this on Saylin's thread it's the first link on the first page of this thread if you don't get an answer here. :Dt5063.gif

I certainly understand you solenta. I just meant if and when someone was nice to me I was certain to say something. Don't misunderstand, I had probs with them too but

I definitely didn't have as hard a time as you did. I'm sorry you did.

And I thank the good Lord you're past that part now. I pray for a smooth interview and no AP for you.

I'm sorry I'm a horrible person but after what they did to us I have nothing good to say about them. I wish I could forgive and maybe I will in the future but right now I just can't. After lies and making us wait and wait forever I just have nothing good do say. :(

I am wondering how many people does NVC actually have answering calls ? Ive called NVC at least 12 times and have had the same 4 people answer the phone...how can that be?

I was wondering the exact same thing. Would be very interesting to find out! I also wonder how many people are reviewing the files.

Hmmm maybe just maybe they redirect phone calls from US to one group of reps and calls from abroad to another group of reps?!

Hello and graphics-welcome-010883.gif to the thread.

Your in my prayers for a great second interview and Visa in hand. :)t5063.gif

Oh no, I do understand what your saying, I was just saying how I feel and it's going to take me a while to get over this and at this point have nothing good to say about it. Maybe if my husband has a smooth interview and Visa the joy might change how I feel, but we shall see. This journey has left me traumatized.

Awww thank you my sweet friend for your prayers they mean the world to me, more precious than diamonds! t4582.gif graphics-love-909133.gif

Hahaha the hamburger phone made me laugh, I'm thinking there are less than usual answering the phones due to the weather and some might live far enough that they can't make it to work. I hope I'm wrong for those coming after us. graphics-love-909133.gif

OMG how kind of you thank you very much I so appreciate you remembering us.

So very happy you have your interview date your getting very close and time will fly by quicker than you think. Start getting all your copies and any evidence you need to show that way when the time comes you wont be running around. If you need to renew your Police certificate or passport do it now don't wait and I'll be praying your interview goes smoothly and your get your Visa. God bless you for having such a kind and thoughtful heart. :)graphics-love-909133.gift4582.gif

Hello, I actually think it was bad luck to get the same person I never did or it's the weather less people there to answer the phones. I would bet they must have a lot of people working there since so much paper work arrives daily. Praying you never get the same person twice. :D t4582.gif
