oh my God sylvia, i am so sorry. Did the consulate say if he eligible for a waiver(i601)? I am so upset right now, it is unbelieveable

He told my husband he didn't believe we were a bona fide marriage, we married alone in Cairo, we met on the net which the Co didn't mention if not mistaken. We only have one picture together because I hate having pictures taken and after years talking when we met we decided (we had talked about the possibility) why wait didn't want to leave each other and we married. I'm not rich either and can't just hop on a plane every three months to Visit my husband then or now. I don't know what they want from us, I lived with my husband for almost two years before I had to come back to take care of my parents. If I could have only stayed this might be another story. :( I'm devastated and I'm sorry if I can't answer everyone individually right now.

Know I love and hold in my heart every single one of you and am in your debt for your prayers and friendship.

I'm lost I don't know what to do, back to NVC, I'm lost! How can we fight, Denial 212 a 6 c 1?

I'm so sorry I can't thank you individually right now, this is what my husband received after the interview.

What does a denial under INA section 212(a)(6)©(i) mean?

You were refused, or found ineligible, for a visa under section 212(a)(6)©(i) because you attempted to receive a visa or enter the United States by willfully misrepresenting a material fact or committing fraud. This is a permanent ineligibility, so every time you apply for a visa, you will be found ineligible for this reason.

You will be advised by the consular officer if you can apply for a waiver of this ineligibility. Review Waivers of Ineligibility for more information.

What is meant by misrepresentation of a material fact?

Misrepresentation means that you falsely presented facts and were not truthful in an attempt to receive a visa or enter the United States. A fact is considered material, as it pertains to this section of the INA, when, had the truth been known, you would not have been eligible to receive a visa or enter the United States.

He said we need more proof of Bona Fide marriage, I don't know what else we can give them. I am beyond devastated and just want to sleep for the rest of my life. They are sending us back to NVC. My worst nightmare has come true we are in AP. God bless you all for your prayers and kind words.

This is just not right. I checked now and was sure that I will get the good news. I feel like crying now! :( Why god let this happen! I pray you are able to provide more evidence that they are asking for. Hope this ordeal ends soon. This is unbearable. But I am here for you. Hope you both find strength at this hard time. And finally remember one thing, true love will definitely conquer all the adversities. Stay strong my dear.

Is there something we can do to help? What evidence did you give? Maybe we can suggest some other things?

I don't know...just trying to be of some help.

Stay strong.
