@ Soloenta my husband wants me to wait and come for the interview which means we will miss our anniversary this year since it on March 21st :( but I think with it being such a hard embassy going for the interview is best.

luvmytater don't be too scared about the embassy in lagos. it is all up to your husband too be very honest and sincere. Everyone's interview is different, people never tell the truth why they were put on ap or denied. i believe you will be ok, sorry about missing your anniversary. A lot of people going for interviews think they can out smart the VO. please tell your husband to be calm and answer the questions honestly. Also make sure there are no discrepencies

There you go and you will have many, many anniversaries to come, wish I could be with my husband for the interview, sad they don't let us in to be with them. Well at least at some of the Embassies. So all set I'm guessing your going to book your flight soon?

At the airport in Nigeria t5041.gif Luvmytater and husband!

As soon as I get the interview date I'm booking my ticket ;) lol we might not make it to the hotel

If you lie at your interview...

  • #1 You'll be baned FOREVER  from visa.
  • #2 If you're lying, your relationship is a lie.
  • #3 Everyone knows AP is standard Administrative Processing which is FBI/DHS/CIA clearance and fingerprint registration, and getting the packet ready to go with the ISSUED visa. I'm sorry Trinity but your out of line! What are you doing here in visajourney if think people are lying???

(F) We are praying for everyone's visas ISSUEDsalute-usa-flag.gifSOON! (F)

Excuse me your are out of line, desrespecting me. Did i once say it is your country, i said nigeria. I am a nigerian, my country is high fraud for visas. i have seen people lie in their interviews, infact i had mine in dec 2014 and i witnessed people lying. Look do you even know the site nairaland, there is atually a VO from the embassy that states what i just said. i guess i hit a nerve with you, sorry! but please do not come at me like that. i was not talking to you, and i am not a troll ok!!!

this is gonna be me and nic in April lol. and as for Trinity not everyone in AP lies about why they are in AP. we are in AP and the only thing they told my husband was that his middle name wasn't on his passport that's the only thing the CO said he had an issue with. now they are recommending to revoke us. so some of us do not know. I pray for all of us in AP and all of those getting ready for their interviews. God bless us all.

Thank you to everyone for the information and laughs. I honestly don't think trinity08 was trying to be negative but only warning against the little white lies people think are ok. Let all just stay positive here and keep our hearts filled with love, because at this point in our visa process there is already too much stress. Now everyone smile and rewatch that that GIF Soloenta posted haha

Awww TwoChickies what beautiful words and sentiment thank you very much and I know how you feel and it's as valid as anyone else's nor more and no less. I was so happy living with my husband for almost two years but the worry for my parents was torture so there is no reason to feel your situation is any less painful than ours. I'm grateful you joined us each member adds to the feeling and knowing we are understood.

It has been my pleasure and honor to have made this thread for all of us and it belongs to all of us. I've been privileged to know such wonderful and helpful people in VJ Saylin, Dewheels, and every single one of you have brought to much comfort to me and so many others. Let's keep praying for each other!

Thank you so much Soloenta. You almost made me cry your words were so kind. They mean more to me than I can say.

Going crazy here.

We called last week about our "confirmation/60 day review" email since we emailed our docs on Jan 16 and heard nothing back. (Not a Tailor got it on Jan 26 and emailed on Jan 11) We got a very rude lady and she wont let us finish asking, just keep repeating "We have not received them. Send them again". We decided to give it another week since we dont want to push back our 60 days.

So we called NVC again today and got the same rude lady. This time she said NVC dont send out confirmation email anymore so dont expect to get one. We were like .. what?

The lady's name is Lidia or Lydia.

I'm so sorry this is happening S&A. I don't understand. From this post and the ones on the other NVC thread, I don't know what to expect when I call back next week. That seems so crazy to me, if this is really what they are doing now. I hope you got in touch with a good supervisor. You guys have been through enough.
