Yeap it's really one big mess. Praying for you too...good luck on 19th:)

Thank you my friend really appreciate it so very much. :) If your in the US it would be on the 18Th :D I'm on the West Coast so I'll be praying by 9pm, 7 am his time. OMG I'm so scared. :(t5063.gif

Lol well I hope it work for us both ;) hopefully yours gets approved and then I get CC around the same time :D

Hahaha that's the plan God willing, I'm just a nervous wreak! t5063.gif

if i get a chance i will definately ask about AP! I think they have this Q&A once a week or month, idk.

Thank you sweet heart, it's something everyone should be asking they have to be accountable for their actions, that would be part of a true immigration reform one person shouldn't be allowed to have that much power! t5063.gif

Oh sweet heart what a mess they need to fix this it's not your fault and don't wait to be called keep calling and say Mari "asked me to call her" I used this and it worked great they may ask you what it's about but it's just to remind her. Don't bother talking to the Reps. Yes I would have the Senator's office work on your case it can't hurt the worst that can happen is you get a letter from them telling you what you found out before their letter like I did. My Senator did nothing told them what they could do with their help and a few days ago after months of NOTHING a letter from them saying I have hahahahaa CC. I'm sure your Senator will do much more than mine since it seems they were ready to help you. Mine could care less so much for the might Barbara Boxer.

I don't understand how they can be so heartless they don't have an ounce of humanity in them.

Thank you so much for your prayers they mean the world to us and we need them more than you know. I'm so nervous someone hit me over the head with a hammer please!!!!!!!!!!! t5063.gif

Thanks sweetheart, and you're welcome.

I decided to finally call the senators office and was asked to email them the details of the issue. Apparently they forwarded the information on to the person that has been handling my case, because he emailed me an hour later telling me he called the NVC and they confirmed the expedite was never received. He then asked me to send him the expedite emails I had sent and all the supporting documentation. I emailed it to him and 15 minutes later he emailed me back, expedite request sent and he will be in touch once he hears something.

I don't post much but I read everything. You guys help so much. I know I am incredibly lucky to be with my husband right now, and hopefully for the rest of the process (fingers crossed). That's the main reason I don't ever feel like I can say much, because we've been really lucky so far.

However, I'm not a resident of his country, I never wanted to become one, and never knew we would be going on this journey. It's hard being away from home, my family. We both hate being stuck in this holding pattern. We also have felt like this for the entire time we've been together, because of other circumstances before immigration started.

We just want to get on with our lives, be able to live them how we want to. I hate sitting here wishing my life away, just hoping the day goes by fast, like a few of you were mentioning. But it's so true. I think I'm a little depressed because of the constant state of not knowing anything and feeling so stuck.

With all that said though, all of you are in my thoughts and I wish you only the best. I know in the scheme of things, I've had a lot better time than a lot of people and I try to be grateful. I also appreciate that this space has been made for all of us though.

I hope the process will be over for everyone as soon as possible. You all have my thoughts and love. (L)

Awww TwoChickies what beautiful words and sentiment thank you very much and I know how you feel and it's as valid as anyone else's nor more and no less. I was so happy living with my husband for almost two years but the worry for my parents was torture so there is no reason to feel your situation is any less painful than ours. I'm grateful you joined us each member adds to the feeling and knowing we are understood.

It has been my pleasure and honor to have made this thread for all of us and it belongs to all of us. I've been privileged to know such wonderful and helpful people in VJ Saylin, Dewheels, and every single one of you have brought to much comfort to me and so many others. Let's keep praying for each other!

Hummmm is your anniversary before or after the interview? Did you ask your husband which would make him feel better? I wish I could go for the interview but I don't know what will happen. If I was sure we would be coming home together I Would but I can't make two trips it's way to expensive. :(

Oh I know what you mean I rarely venture out of this thread for that very same reason.

Going crazy here.

We called last week about our "confirmation/60 day review" email since we emailed our docs on Jan 16 and heard nothing back. (Not a Tailor got it on Jan 26 and emailed on Jan 11) We got a very rude lady and she wont let us finish asking, just keep repeating "We have not received them. Send them again". We decided to give it another week since we dont want to push back our 60 days.

So we called NVC again today and got the same rude lady. This time she said NVC dont send out confirmation email anymore so dont expect to get one. We were like .. what?

The lady's name is Lidia or Lydia.

I would talk to a Supervisor. If they say they never got it and you should re-send it, then that's fine as long as they give you a scan date equal to the date you sent your email the first time, which you have a proof of, so perhaps a supervisor can help set this up for you.

We called again and another lady(nicer one) said if we dont have a bounce back email then the system has it. It's just they have no way of seeing what's in the email queue.

That rude lady wont connect to a supervisor. So we are on the phone again hoping to get transferred.

I dont understand why she would say they dont send confirmation/60 days review email indicating documents are received. It makes no sense.

@ Soloenta my husband wants me to wait and come for the interview which means we will miss our anniversary this year since it on March 21st :( but I think with it being such a hard embassy going for the interview is best.

There you go and you will have many, many anniversaries to come, wish I could be with my husband for the interview, sad they don't let us in to be with them. Well at least at some of the Embassies. So all set I'm guessing your going to book your flight soon?

Oh my, call again if you get the same idiot hang up wait a minute and call back I know it's a pain but if she's rude then it's worth it and if you look at my time line below you can complain about her to that e-mail.

If you got Lydia during the day from 7 to 3 then try the night shift 3 to 12 ask for Mari shes a very nice supervisor so at least she wont be rude. Not sure what to say about resending but if you wait and they insist on you resending then God only knows. Will be praying this is fixed in a timely manner.

Read your other post, don't believe a word the reps tell you the mean one is just a nasty idiot and she shouldn't have spoken to you that way nor said what she said.

Cairo Embassy doesn't let the Petitioner in either, since I don't know what will happen I choose (God willing) to come back with my husband for the POE.
