Did everybody know about this?

Or am I the only one who missed that?

Even AOS checklist, if you send multiple package,

they are not gonna review the earlier arrival package until when they review the the later arrival package.

I did know now that you have to send AOS and IV package at the same time for initial application,

but I never know I have to do so for checklist too.

First document's scan date is Dec 11th.

So I expected my case should be completed this week.

I called NVC a couple of times this week, but no reps mentioned this,

then last one I spoke with in this morning told this rule.

I am much more than disparate and devasted. So frustrated to cry all day.

I filed both mother and father case on August.

Then they issued the checklist only for my father's case.

I patiently waited for 2 months, then his case was approved in the beginning of December.

Right away, now they issued my mother's AOS checklist.

Actually I sent the copy of my father's AOS for application as I thought it was ok.

Well, I admitted I made mistake, but they could have told me so much earlier,

at least they could do when they issued my father's case.

Besides, then they hold my father's case as they said my parents' cases are linked.

They are not gonna forward father's case to the embassy until mother's case is completed.

I sent AOS supporting documents and was received on January 14th,

which is the exact copy of my father's AOS documents.(tax return, W2 staff)

As they already approved father's case and hold this,

it means that they have already those supporting documents on their hands.

When I sent the earlier package on 12/9, I was out of country, so was not able to include supporting documents.

Some of rep insisted that mother's AOS also need the copy of supporting documents, I sent them later (1/14) when I came back to states for

the precaution.

Well, now regretted that I never should have done that.

BUT, am I the only one that is a way too much nonsense at all ??? ( I even want to use the word b**l*s**t)

Thank you again my dear friend and how are you doing? t5063.gif

I have been a silent observer on this thread since September 2014. My husband and I started the visa journey almost a year ago.

We have had some highs and lows. Missed birthdays, one year anniversary and holidays. It was only the grace of God that helped us to weather through it all. We prayed each night and finally our prayers have been answered

Case Complete :dancing: :joy: :dancing:

We have reached another BIG milestone in our visa journey. Although we still have one more step to go - we are ever so grateful to have completed the NVC process.

The resources and tips on this forum have have been invaluable. Thank you to everyone who has shared and provided advice. Most of all thanks to Saylin for your wonderful guide and FAQs.

First graphics-welcome-010883.gif to the thread.

I'm so very sorry all this has happened but I have seen them hold cases when they are linked so they can both come into the country at the same time. Ok not sure if that is the reason but I would hope so. I think in the long run all this will workout, they do have to take each one as an individual case so each AOS has to have it's sets of documents/copies.

Now I thought they looked at each package as they arrived but that might have changed because they now want you to send the AOS and IV together as you know. So it would be logical that if you send more than one package they would hold them until the last one comes in. I don't know I might be wrong, you just never know with immigration one second they want this the next they want something else. Just hold on be patient many of us have been going through this for almost two years. Not diminishing your pain just saying take a deep breath it's really not as bad as it can be. I'll be praying all goes well and quickly for you. t5063.gif

Good Morning

I have a question if my case was complete on January,30 how do I track it on DHL?

Geez so sorry no clue but you can ask Dwheels about that she seems to know everything about tracking them. :Dt5063.gif

Soloenta, what a beautiful song. "rosal de hermosura"! I will be praying to your Patrona Virgen Rocio, so you get "visa approved" on the 19th. You are so close.

What is wrong with NVC today. I been on Hold for almost an hour an half .Some other members posted that they have been on hold too for over an hour.

Did someone call in sick for the NVC?

They really need to do something about the NVC. Ridicules they have one center handling all the visas. when they have 2 to handle K-1 petition and 5 to handle other petitions. Who thought of this backward set up. of course the NVC will not be able to keep up.
