Hello, I actually think it was bad luck to get the same person I never did or it's the weather less people there to answer the phones. I would bet they must have a lot of people working there since so much paper work arrives daily. Praying you never get the same person twice. :D

LOL don't scare her Soloenta  , she's already had more than her fair share of bad luck with USCIS.

The hardest part of the waiting is not knowing. I know logically that we sent them exactly what they asked for, we confirmed with them twice what they wanted, and both people said the same exact thing even when I said that the checklist was strangely worded. The second lady said she knew it was strangely worded but not to worry, that we had sent the right things.

And I logically know that if they needed more income evidence that's what they would have asked for, instead of asking us for schedules that we should have sent in the first place and a new form for something we left blank.

But the logic just doesn't seem to matter and I still can't help but worry that we will get another checklist and my husband will leave and I will be without him for a large chunk of the year. :(

Sigh.

Congratulations guys on your case complete. I haven't checked in for a while. I will look forward to hearing when your interview date is. The journey is almost at an end for you.

Hi everyone

Like Amanda I haven't checked in for a while.

It is great to see some CC but I find it also upsetting that nothing has changed and that people are still waiting for so long.

Soloenta not long now darling until your interview.

What is the news on Samreen, eoc4ever. I can't find any posts from them.

I know that what I am going to say might sound blasé. I remember our dear friend mohbar65 saying this some time back but it is SO true. Once the journey is over and you are back with your loved ones, believe me, this terrible time that you are going through now will fade into a memory.

One thing I said to myself as I boarded that plane is I wasn't going to be bitter about having our family apart for 16 months or the fact that our children saw their father twice during that time but rather I would move on, not talk about it and live my life. I am happy to say that is what I am doing.

Love to you all.

Hi! My wife sent the I-130 with paid fees and all necessary documents via USPS Signature confirmation on 12/03/2014. Since then we still haven't heard anything!

As I've gathered from VJ, we should receive NOA1 by now, right? . Only thing we have is USPS delivery confirmation stating that the application is received by the USCIS on 5th December! signature confirmation indicates that D Van Arsdale signed it.

There is no off topic here but just curious have you ever been to Rocio and if so what is it like? I was named after the Virgin del Rocio and was wondering what the place was like. :D

Hi Soloenta. Well, you have a beautiful name. :goofy: But, I have never been there. But it sounds like is a really nice place and the event very fascinating. I lived 5 years in Spain but only in Oviedo. Unfortunately, never had to chance to make it to Andalucia. (F)

yah, be nice to me Soloenta! lol. but I think I know what she means....and yes I did have very bad luck with USCIS....all because Montreal Embassy did not properly cancel my Ki visa in 2012. USCIS thought I was 204g, so we had to hire a lawyer to prove our innocence and have an interview at the local office,,10 freaking months to get an NOA2....unbelievable!!!

One thing I said to myself as I boarded that plane is I wasn't going to be bitter about having our family apart for 16 months or the fact that our children saw their father twice during that time but rather I would move on, not talk about it and live my life. DEBBBBBBBBBBIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE so wonderful to see you post here, Samreen is home with her husband in the USA and busy and EOC is still in AP God bless her sweet and loving heart, praying they have mercy and give her the Visa already.

So happy your doing so well with the kids and this is just a memory I'm sure I'll feel the same way God willing if we get our Visa.

Yes not long now and I'm getting so nervous I hope we have done everything right and nothing is needed. We have more evidence of Bona Fide marriage including texts my husband was able to download, couldn't download mine and Skype screen shots. God willing they don't even need that. Anyway thank you so much for thinking of all of us, I for one am so grateful you came back to say hello. God bless you my sweet friend, kisses for the children and you! t5063.gif

Day 56 at NVC and becoming very impatient :( ...Does anyone know if 60 days really means 60...or can it go beyond that ? I'm just hoping we don't get a checklist because that would be a real setback. It doesn't help either that this week NVC has been impossible to get through to. Lines are always busy, but this week in particular I haven't be able to get through to them no matter what time of day I call.

Hello and graphics-welcome-010883.gif to the thread.

Boy your very close have you called? Did you check to see if you have 3 N/A's? Your so close I have seen two that have gone to day 62 and one 64 days but it's rare I think. You really need to call the squeaky wheel you know. Yes NVC has been closed because of the weather so it's been slow but I hope they will be able to speed up a bit. Please keep calling someone will answer there is still time, t5063.gif graphics-love-909133.gif

I got checklist a day before my scan date.....I pray you don't get a checklist, I'm wasting another 2 months waiting to get my checklist review

But I've seen some ppl got their case review a week before their 60 days mark as well

Getting a checklist that late is the worst! I got one on day 54! I was devastated?

Even now I feel bad, I could have been on my way to the interview by now.

I have been a silent observer on this thread since September 2014. My husband and I started the visa journey almost a year ago.

We have had some highs and lows. Missed birthdays, one year anniversary and holidays. It was only the grace of God that helped us to weather through it all. We prayed each night and finally our prayers have been answered

Case Complete :dancing: :joy: :dancing:

We have reached another BIG milestone in our visa journey. Although we still have one more step to go - we are ever so grateful to have completed the NVC process.

The resources and tips on this forum have have been invaluable. Thank you to everyone who has shared and provided advice. Most of all thanks to Saylin for your wonderful guide and FAQs.

Scan Date -- Dec 11, no checklist
