my daughter and i was scheduled for 7:30am appointment... got caught in traffic so were about 15mins late. we went to the front of the line and was sent in immediately (showed apointment letter and passport). We went through metal detectors ... I was given a number and told to sit down and listen for it... I waited about 10-15mins before my number was called... I went to the first window where I handed in our medicals, passport, pictures, my police record and was finger printed. First co asked.....who is my filing for me? What's my current address and my phone number. She told me sit and listen for my name this time. Another 30-40mins my name was callEd. Second co and I greeted each other (nice lady). She swore me in and I was finger printed again. She only asked me three question. have I ever traveled outside of the country? have i ever committed any criminal offence? and if my husband is my child's father. gave me a pamphlet about spousal abuse. Type something in her computer And said you're all good. Did you sign up for dhl? Said yes. Was told my passport would be delivered within a week or two. the whole process went smoothly. Thank god its over. Oh I carried a bunch of evidence to show ongoing relationship wasn't asked for anything.

Congrats on your approval. Did you front load your petition with evidence of bonafide relationship?

Congratulations to all visa approvals, interview dates and case completes.

Haven't been here for a while. My wife arrived in the states on January 24th and she is loving it.

We still haven't received her Green Card. Called USCIS yesterday and talked to the Rep. he mentioned that they are still awaiting for the paperwork to come from her POE which was JFK, NY. Is this common? It's been a month and JFK still hasn't forwarded her biometrics to USCIS, I find it little strange.

Also POE officer didn't ask to see my wife's vaccination record and X-ray CD from her medical exam at POE.

USCIS told me that if my wife doesn't receive her Green Card by end of March then I should call them again.

I wanted to see if anyone has experienced that or has any input regarding this matter.

Thanks.

Average wait time for the physical Green Card is 6 - 8 weeks. The rep gave you good advice.

Hi neilsqueen any luck getting your husband immunization card?

He said he is going 2 talk 2 his mom but isn't too hopeful because he doesn't think they would keep his records from childhood in the 80's. He is going 2 get the flu & chickenpox shot soon though. Thanks for asking!

But of course. This thread is just like the NVC filers thread. When the month is over we move forward to the next month April Interviews and this one will be closed. I will post for the last comment where the next thread is and we will continue.

Doesn't matter when your interview in whatever the current thread is is where we are at.
