I did end up taking everything - just in case. Did not need anything. Did not even need pics, the Embassy used the last pic of me they had from a tourist visa. I did not need to provide them with anything updated - no pics, proof, nothing. We just had a brief conversation about the relationship timeline and that's it. Oh, I did have the baby attached.

Approved. They will call me to let me know when to pick up the visa.

OH MY GOD you must be my good luck charm or something! I swear I checked about 500 times the past 5 days, including once 5 minutes before posting that reply... and... well... why not... I decided to check YET AGAIN just now. Issued!!! omg! omg!

I had my interview on Feb 10th and was able to pick up the visa on the 20th (the day it arrived at the Loomis site).

Just to let you know I had my interview on Tuesday in December and the Visa was in my little hands by Friday. The worst part was that the Express Post guy left it on my doorstep and didn't ring the bell. Can you imagine!!!!!!!

NVC schedules interviews. The issue for you is It's your embassy. which is slow as molasses lately. Do not know what the issue is.If you look at the spreadsheet you will see CC as far back as 12/23 still waiting for Jamaica.

Honestly how Jamaica is scheduling. I would not count on April when December people have not yet be scheduled. Sorry to be barer of bad news. But trying to keep it real.

This whole process is crazy, but I guess the bright side of it is that the end of the tunnel is in sight. I was hoping to be with my hubby for my birthday at the end of April, but with no likelihood of a March interview, it doesn't seem that way...considering that I have to give 30 days notice resignation from my job after I do interview. I'm hopeful nevertheless.

Interview is set for March 12th

Hubby has his medical and we are preparing for the big day at Lagos embassy.

I am nervous about the Affidavit of Support forms. I thank God that I found a better paying job. He has to present the corrected form then.

Don't be nervous. With Lagos long as Previous and current meets guidelines you will be fine.

Oh heaven sakes no not 3000!!! . You think they going to read 300 emails. What did you submit with your petition or submit tat NVC? All you should be bringing to interview is updated evidence. a brief sampling of talks a ling (screen shots of time stamp of time sent is fine. Call logs, IM's, chats, skype whatever communication you use.

I will be moving to another address in march and my wife interview is in the middle of march nvc people told me to update form ds260 at interview. I would like to hear if any one here did or know some one who did it before

Yes she can tell them the new address at interview and you can update on USCIS and of course after interview when you pay the Visa fee on ELIS you would have new address this is important since this is where the green card is going.

Just wait until interview. You really have no other choice. You are done at NVC.

Hi guys. My visa status says "ready" which is great but isn't there some kind of form I have to fill in? Applicant readiness or something? Ih ave everything ready. My region was absolutely flattened by a devastating cyclone in the last few days, we have no power and were without running water for 4 days. It's unbelievably hot and so hard to sleep because we can't power our fans or air conditioners. Anyway that aside I have the visa package all ready to go, the only thing I need to add to it is our book of wedding photos.

so got the CC email from NVC today AM...took about 5 business days from the actual CC date (2/17).......let see when we get the interview date......our congressman expedite request was denied by the indian embassy.....

Our Interview is coming up on March 2nd. (so close now) We're the case where the "medical" required further Sputum testing in Bkk. We have learned through research that he most likely WILL interview and not be postponed...receive a 221g...and then wait for the test results to clear TB. (6 weeks)

I have two questions today: 1st. I'm trying to give them some updated Skype call logs for the last year. We live together 1/2 the year so this is for the time we are apart. I have about 200 pages spanning 6 months. How do you recommend to present this. Pull out a few pages from each month for a total of 20 pages.... or give them more? or less?

Next question and I'm pretty stuck on this one. We're required to fill out a "GSS Registration" at ustraveldocs.com/th for the address the passport should be returned to. One of the questions is which visa we are applying to. IR1/CR1 are listed separately. One choice for IR1...one for CR1. We were married April 11, 2013. Our interview is March 2 , 2015. We are hoping to fly to the U.S at the end of April.

At the time of POE we will have been married for 2 yrs and qualify for the IR1 visa. I have read that it is possible to have this updated at POE. Question here is... what should I put on this GSS Registration? CR1 or IR1. I'm guessing CR1 as at the time of interview we're just under the two years.... but if the ultimate category we'll be going for is IR1 should that be put down... or does it really matter that much for this GSS reg? We're getting close here...putting our final touches on the interview prep and will really appreciate any advice from the VJ family. Thank you!!!
