Official case complete Feb 20,2015. Today's phone call to NVC results: Montreal consulate interviews for April will be issued the first week of March.

Today we beat the record for cold in February. -24 C

It means that your file has been entered into the DHL system and is somewhere between the NVC shipping desk and your Embassy/Consulate's receiving desk. When your Embassy/Consulate scans your file into its system, your CEAC status will change to "READY".

You should get it soon. It has been taking slightly longer for people after they went over to the new site.

Interview is set for March 12th

Hubby has his medical and we are preparing for the big day at Lagos embassy.

I am nervous about the Affidavit of Support forms. I thank God that I found a better paying job. He has to present the corrected form then.

Well one thing that's nice about February it's a short month and it will be over on Saturday. So here's hoping April Interview scheduling starts either this week (who knows maybe Thursday or Friday) or at least we will start next week. So get ready people.

The interview itself went ok, but the computer stopped working so the guy was a little lost. I'm a little unsure about what the result is, but they kept my passport so I'm going to assume it is approved....

Ceac still says it ready.

Ivy, I'm so happy for you! This has been a long haul for you!

I would suggest taking a copy of all documents that NVC could have lost - just in case. If there are any additional "proof" documents that show your relationship between your NVC submission and today, then have those handy. The baby is probably your best proof!

We didn't have to show ANYTHING, but I was glad I had the documents. It was about a 3 inch folder. Yes, it was heavy. But the security it gave us was worth it.

I did end up taking everything - just in case. Did not need anything. Did not even need pics, the Embassy used the last pic of me they had from a tourist visa. I did not need to provide them with anything updated - no pics, proof, nothing. We just had a brief conversation about the relationship timeline and that's it. Oh, I did have the baby attached.

Approved. They will call me to let me know when to pick up the visa.

I had my interview on Feb 10th and was able to pick up the visa on the 20th (the day it arrived at the Loomis site).

I will be moving to another address in march and my wife interview is in the middle of march nvc people told me to update form ds260 at interview. I would like to hear if any one here did or know some one who did it before

Congrats!!! Happy to hear that. Still waiting here for the status to change to Issued. Hopefully soon...
