hello Blessed People. im looking forward for my interview on March 2nd and i would like if anyone helps me telling me how long does it take to get the Passport delivered after the visa is issued at Nairobi/Kenya consulate?

i am booking a flight from Rwanda to Kenya but making changes on the ticket is very expensive and i would want to estimate when the Visa would be issued if my Interview is on Monday 02 March, should i expect the the passport returned by the weekend on the same week?

Any answer would be highly welcomed.

Hey guys another 2 question here, :) 1. With the 2 passport size pics you have to take to the interview do you have to write your name, DOB ect on the back of them???

and 2. my husband who is the US citizen has lived here with me in Australia for the past 6yrs he has kept his bank accounts, credit cards active and still has his drivers licence and such. We sent copies of all this stuff to NVC and I want to take the evidence with me. do you think i need more up to date statements ect or are the ones i have ok?? they are from mid last year ( because NVC take so damn fast lol)

Good morning, when do you register for dhl? Do you wait until you have an interview date or can i do it know while i wait for a date? Also once i register will i be required to notify the embassy

Hey good.morning.. I think u gotta have an interview date to sign up because when I registered I had to enter my interview date and time!

I'm sorry. You know if I was the scheduler CR1/IR1 at ALL embassies would take first priority than if there are any slots open the B1/B2 and K1's can have the rest. I too often wonder why K1's get free reign and get to schedule their own while we are left standing. No bueno. Hang on

I gave this info to you already. You should be looking at your info page for Kenya. But here's the information about your Visa. But nothing is convreate. Really intil you have Visa in hand nothing you should be doing to change anything.

Visa issued same day? No ball.gif If not whats the waiting period? 3-5 business days. If your fiance is Muslim and male, the security check can take much longer. Be prepared, so you won't be disappointed, and don't buy the plane ticket quite yet.

What is a packet 3 ? And do u have to email the consulate for doctor ?

Packet 3 is for K1. No you do not email the embassy. Did you read the Info page I attached for you to read in the thread earlier. Here it is again the information is all there.

I just came back from my interview. APPROVED!!! :thumbs: I will write a better review later... but, it went really well. Had to wait for like 4 hours at the embassy (that part was torture, worst morning ever) but the actual interview was very short and the consul was super nice to me. Oh my god I can't believe it's over. Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god.
