Ok.when do I pay the $165 ..coz in the interview letter thers nothing about it?

It wouldn't be in your interview letter. You pay the fee after you are approved and pick up your Visa then you go online and pay on the ELIS system.

I received my medical results today :) Am I right to leave them sealed in the envelopes the doctor sent?

I had my medical on Thursday, and received the results in the mail today. Pretty good :)

Yep - keep that envelope sealed! Congrats on getting your medical out of the way. Hope you had a good time in Brissy!

One month to go - you are almost there!

I had a fabulous time! Less than a month to go now, woohooo!

I know it's extremely naughty but I booked my flight. Every time I looked they were getting more and more expensive so I took the plunge. I figure if there's an issue at interview I have bigger problems than having a flight booked and I made sure I could change it if needs be.

My case was complete February 5 and I called NVC right now and told me that the case is still under review for the document I sent to them! Oh my goodness! My heart dropped! After asking for a Supervisor last 5th -5 times and finally got one, and he reviewed and completed my case. I called twice last week to check whether they sent the packets to the embassy since it was approved for expedite. The agent told me that its still under review right now for the document I sent last January. I asked her to check all actions taken and she said she couldnt find any except for the pending review of the document I sent.

Im going to cry if the case completion is taken out and moved to under review again!

I don't know what this "ELIGIBILITY DOCUMENT" is.nYou are the second Canada person who has asked. So don;t know if it's Canada specific or what. Sorry.

Can you please copy the key that's in the P4 letter. My copy I have in the first post is from circa 2013 and I guess outdated.

I guess I will try calling them to see what it could be. All I can think about is my Canadian citizenship documents they asked for and I sent a photocopy of my citizenship card.

Who would I even call to clarify that? Montreal or NVC? :S

Here is the key

Document Status Code Definitions:

A Obtain the original or a certified copy of this document and present it at your interview

C You must bring this entire interview letter to your interview

D The NVC sent this form or document to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate

F The NVC did not request this form or document

G You withdrew your I-601A, Application for Provisional Unlawful Presence Waiver, with USCIS

H You must obtain two passport photographs of yourself and present them at your interview

I This form is incomplete. You must present a completed form at your interview.

J The NVC only received a photocopy of the document. You must present the original document at

the time of your interview.

O The NVC sent this form or document to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate

P You must request this police certificate from the issuing authority. After you submit your

request, the issuing authority will send the certificate directly to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate

for your interview.

R You submitted the Immigrant Visa Application online

S The NVC only received a scanned document. You must present the original document at the time

of your interview.

T You must present an English translation of this document at the time of your interview

U You indicated this document was unavailable. The consular officer will decide whether to waive

the requirement for this document at your interview.

V View the website at http://havana.usint.gov/cfrp.htmlfor English

or http://spanish.havana.usint.gov/cfrp.htmlfor Spanish and follow the instructions.

X This document is unobtainable

Y The NVC sent this form or document to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate

Look what I found while going through a checklist I got. My suspicion was right! It is the Canadian citizenship docs I sent to NVC

______ELIGIBILITY DOCUMENT:________________________________________

You must submit proof establishing your eligibility to be processed for an immigrant visa
in Canada. Canadian citizens can meet this requirement with copies of Canadian
passports, Canadian citizenship certificates, or birth certificates showing birth in Canada.
If you are not a Canadian citizen, you must provide us with a copy of your Landed
Immigrant papers or a copy of your visa that states that you may legally remain in Canada
for six more months. This document must indicate six months validity from the time it is
received at the NVC.
If you are currently residing in the U.S., you must provide us with a copy of your Landed
Immigrant papers or a copy of your visa valid for 6 months or more from the date the
document is received at the NVC.
If acceptable proof of eligibility is not provided as requested your case will be reassigned to process at
the Embassy/Consulate in your last country of residence.

Hopefully if someone searches for this in the future, this will help them. Now I can breathe easy!
