My interview is this Friday in Montreal. So nervous and excited at the same time!!!

Hi, I got my CC on 13 feb. just wanted to know, how long does it took to get an interview date at Islamabad embassy after CC??

Finally my wife and child landed in USA on 11th Feb. A long journey. My wife's visa was approved on 11th January, but the step child's visa was on admin processing for want of custody. We were fighting for the custody in the court and it was about to close and we got the custody in the last week of January and we go the visa stamped in one day.

A question. How long we need to wait for SSN card to come and the green card?

After waiting around 10 month at nvc, finally my wife case get complete as of feb 13 .

Waiting now for interview letter ( us embassy amman/jordan).

So I am going over the P4 email and one of the documents listed under document name is "ELIGIBILITY DOCUMENT" It has the code "J"

J = The NVC only received a photocopy of the document. You must present the original document at

the time of your interview.

What is this eligiblity document?? I dont know what this would be :S

I don't know what this "ELIGIBILITY DOCUMENT" is.nYou are the second Canada person who has asked. So don;t know if it's Canada specific or what. Sorry.

Can you please copy the key that's in the P4 letter. My copy I have in the first post is from circa 2013 and I guess outdated.

Hello everyone,

My interview has been scheduled on march 18th. I was in United States on my student visa and after my work permit expired I came back to my home country without overstaying a day. At that time I was in relationship with my wife , but we were not married. She then came here and we got married. Now , I have interview at Bombay. I am just concerned about if the officer will ask me more questions about my student visa and me coming back scenario rather than asking question about me and my wife and our relationship. Has anyone come across any case like mine or know someone? Someone please tell me if this can happen or not, this is spouse visa and interview is related that but we never know how the officer is. I am just worried if they will ask me more questions about my student visa and expired work permit/sevis completed. ,

I don't see what the issue is. Even if they ask questions about your student visa just answer matters not. You didn't overstay. Just answers honestly. Congratulations on the Interview date.

Would have no idea. I would suggest you call the physician you decided to go to and ask them how long it tales. Also go visit the info page here on VJ. for information.

Have no idea this month with NVC closures. Have no idea if they are completed for March. All you can do is call them and check and see if they are still scheduling. With the weather they have been closed every month for the last 4 weeks. And it will not be getting better. I still see some still getting interviews so keep hope alive.

SS cars usually come with 2 to 4 weeks. Most go to SS office after week 2. So just go to the office now.

The green card if you have paid the $165. usually takes about 4 to 8 weeks (more of the 8 weeks time frame. Just monitor your status on the ELIS website. Congratulations to your family.

I received my medical results today Am I right to leave them sealed in the envelopes the doctor sent?

I had my medical on Thursday, and received the results in the mail today. Pretty good
