Q.

The Biometrics( fingerprint) step is necessary for everyone ?

India is about the only country that has advance biometrics. Everyone else has Biometrics (fingerprinting) at the time of interviews.

Hey mate! The ONLY reason I can think of for the short amount of time between CC and interview was the fact that NVC screwed us up by demanding two Australian police reports - one from QLD (necessary) and one from VIC (unnecessary) - and cost us a whole month. Perhaps someone took pity on us and gave us one of the first available slots!

More likely, we just got lucky....

Praying so hard I get the same luck as you!

I got my husband's W2 Dwheels for the interview. But our lawyer us telling us to file the 2014 tax to bring it to the interview.

Are you going to the doc that is at the Ann St Exit at Central? That's the one we used. You start there, then walk across the plaza for your xray and bloodwork. It's all within about a 4 block radius and each thing is easy to find. It took us about 1 hour and 15 minutes to get through all 3 stations. We were VERY nervous, as my beneficiary had a stroke two years ago, and a hole in her heart closed. The only thing the doc was really interested in (and it wasn't a show stopper) was the fact that she takes blood pressure medication!

Make it a lovely day!

Yep, that's the place. Dr Yates? I know Brisbane pretty well so luckily that is a stress free thing. I will be staying on Queen Street at a cool new place on the mall, I'm really keen to check it out!

A few years back I had some paroxysmal tachycardia but it was never medicated and resolved with weight loss and an increase in fitness. I've sought minor assistance for some very low-level mental health stuff (working through tough times as we all do). I don't take any medication so I'm not too worried!

I'm very keen to get to Brisbane and visit some friends and my brother. I got flights on days either side so that the day itself can be stress free and I don't have to worry about delayed flights, as happens so often with my regional town!

Thanks Sukie, that made me feel a lot better!

What is the bloodwork for, do you know?
