Hi mrs m. Had the same problem. Wondering where to get the medical form. Called andrews memorial to enquire about it and was told to expect in the mail along with my interview letter or I could just purchase one on the day of the medical appointment.

CEAC status changed to "issued". What exactly does that mean, and how long normally it takes to get Visa in hand after issued? Please help since I'm here in the DR just waiting for wife to get her passport so we can leave together, but my job didn't give me all of next week, only until Wednesday. Can someone tell me how long here in the DR it take before we can get it after issued status?

The embassy emailed me that they had a chance to review our docs. Based on their review,they said we need a co sponsor since my husband's 2013 tax is only $19,186 ( he didnt work for 2 months since he came here in the Philippines)...i know its below the poverty guidelines. They said we need to bring AOS with joint sponsor. However, my husband's 2014 W2 tax is now on $26,700.

Can i just bring this to the interview or should my husband file for the 2014 tax? Is this ok or really need a co sponsor?

Darn you didn't have that W2 in hand? I would take the W2 in to them and show them so they see 2014 he was above the guidelines. Do that monday see what they say?

Dwheels I don't mean to be a bother but I went on the link and I still did not see the medical history form could u be a bit more specific?

And that is where I read that u need to register your appointment? Which u didn't answer whether I needed to?

And if I live extremely close to the consulate do I still need to register with DHL?

1. Okay - lets walk through this I am not part of your embassy nor never registered but I bring it up and I see what you need to do. Where it says on #1 thats you Register your Consular Immigrant Visa appointment date and time or request Returning Resident support services.

Scheduling Your Medical Examine Appointment

All applicants are required to have a medical exam performed as part of the immigrant visa application process. After you receive your appointment letter, please schedule your medical examination at least ten days prior to the date of your visa interview. The date of your visa interview appears on your appointment letter. Failure to complete your medical examination well in advance of your visa interview may result in delays with your visa application.

What to Bring to the Medical Exam

1. Completed medical history form (mailed with your appointment letter)
2. Appointment letter
3. Passport
4. Four (4) passport-size pictures
5. Exam and vaccination fees
6. Immunization records showing prior vaccinations
7. Reading glasses (if used)
8. All medication containers and/or most recent prescriptions

If you have already scheduled a medical exam at Fairview Medical Center, it must be completed by December 31, 2014. All new medical exam appointments should be scheduled at Andrews Memorial Hospital.

Thank you dwheels!! I was wondering what the whole thing about having to register your appointment date is. from nepal.

Every country is different. I am not sure Nepal has to. I so wish there was a one size fits all. They change the rules and don't tell people. I would go to your embassy website and check to make sure some new stuff didn't go into affect.
