Do you or anyone know about paying ELIS now? I wasn't told ANYTHING from the CO about this, she simply said have a nice day and that was it. So, I understand I have to pay the Visa fee before my wife flies out of the country, but how come they don't tell you this at interview? What if I didn't learn that from this awesome website? I feel they need to better inform people who for example are older or oblivious to the internet. Anyways, I'm assuming I have to have my wife's passport and A number to be able to pay.

HI! I can come in here instead of lurking now!

Just found out we got case complete as of yesterday! Last scan date 11 Dec.

Hoping we get an interview in March. My husband leaves on March 2 to go back to the USA and I'd love us to not be apart too long.

But with a CC of just yesterday I feel we will probably be an April interview. What do you guys think?

I am the beneficiary. My husband is the petitioning USC.

HI EVERYONE,

MY WIFE HAD INTERVIEW SCHEDULED THIS MORNING AT THE EMBASSY IN NAIROBI, BUT UNFORTUNATELY THEY TOLD HER THEY ARE UNABLE TO "OPEN HER FILE" THEY MADE HER WAIT FOR 5HRS AND FINALLY RESCHEDULED HER FOR MON FEB 10TH...

HAS ANYONE HEARD OF THIS ISSUE OF EMBASSY UNABLE TO "OPEN FILE"

SOUND VERY FISHY TO ME

Good to see another case out of Korea!! My Korean husband submitted checklist documents December 24 and is awaiting a CC hopefully by the end of the month!! Congratulations and good luck with the interview!!

Thanks! I heard once the case transfer to embassy it goes really quick, can get the visa in a hand after one week of the interview.

Oh and why don't they tell you about the site, why to continues the torture it's their las opportunity.

I think you have to register with the place your passport will be sent to, I hope someone from your wife's country can help here.

I just got approved for expedited processing, will NVC tell me when my interview date is or should I be getting info from the consulate now? Are there any other things I need to do before POA? Thanks!!!!!
