I am currently pissed with my brother whom I expected to prepare everything for my parents' interview which is tomorrow, Feb 2.

Upon reviewing the checklist with him I found out that they don't have birth certificate and marriage certificate available for my mom.

Even though I've been reminding them since last year to have it for interview, he said, He "thought" they still have it without checking....grrrr....

When I submitted DS 260 online and sent all the civil documents to NVC, I forwarded them originals, is there a chance that US Manila Embassy will not ask anymore civil documents during interview?

Anyone? Please.. thanks in advance.

Its also my interview schedule date tomorrow february 2,2015 at 6:15 in the morning.

Eventhough you submitted all originals documents to NVC, the usem consul may or maynot ask some documents, so theres 50/50 chances manila embassy will ask or not ask.

Anyways just hoping the consul will not ask those documents anymore.

You might see my parents there tomorrow :P Upon reviewing the interview letter they sent us, the required documents they need to bring to the interview ... it says " Photocopies of civil documents" so I am hopeful it won't be asked and delays everything.. thanks for your reply...

Yeah we might see eachother tomorrow, what time your parents interview tomorrow? If the CO will ask the checklist and your parents dont have them, the CO will give them 211g form to comply what they asked.

and it depends to the CO if they will get their passport or return their passport with them.

Hi all, this thread is seldom used but will post non the less. Had a scan date of Nov 17, 2014 and after all this wait, calling NVC but got no real update, biting of my fingernails to the nubs waiting for a cc, they had the nerve to send a checklist today for civil documents that were already submitted. I called NVC, asked to speak to a supervisor but the agent said none was available, would I like a call back? Lets see where this leads because I am not looking forward to another lengthy wait for them to re review.

hi, my mom is pending for her interview date as well, how long does NVC sends an interview email since the day it was CC? and how long did they set the interview?, does she need to bring a copy of the affidavit of support forms that we file as well? and also i don't have my original birth certificate here in the US, and i don't know if she has one back home, but can she request it to NSO? what would be the requirements to do that?,and also her name is mispelled on my BC so the real name she's using is diff from my BC. (i went thru hell, having that problem to USCIS lol, we had to file an affidavit, thanked GOD we are this close :D ) :help:
