welcome to the thread.

it takes approx 42 calendar days to get a case number and an iin. be patient. we have all waited. I'd count 42 days from your case arrival date and expect to hear something by this date. no sense getting your hopes up or calling them, its not going to happen. best spend your time preparing your AOS and IV packages now. both of these take time to prep and you are able to submit them both as soon as nvc has marked your AOS fee as paid.

Is it true that NVC schedules interviews first 15 day of each month, do you know anything about that? I just recently got a cc i wonder how long it would take for interview in the DR ??

I think interview schedules are based on the country and long lines at some of the US Embassies and Consulates abroad. Some body correct me if I'm wrong

Got a checklist cause my dad didnt tick the military section this is crazy. Anyway my scan date was dec 8 now its feb 10 do you guys think they review checklist faster? Or what?

I know the feeling. I got one for not writing 2013 on my sponsors form at one point and not sending a signed statement from my wife to say she has no tax return because she is a student.

I wonder whether checklist reviews go into a different pile? I know that one person got their checklist reviewed in 42 days did they not?

I swear one person from India got his checklist reviewed within ~10 days. You never know.

Any CC today? The last CC that I saw was for Dec 22 scan date.

Mine is Dec 30. Praying for good news soon.

I am new to this thread but definitely not to the process. Between NVC and USCIS, we have been going round and round for years. Our scan date is December 23. I keep hearing about the 3 N/A's. Either I am not looking in the right place or our case is different, because I log in like I am going to pay the CEAC fees and then I see the AOS and DS260 both show paid, but that would only be 2 N/A's??? We are going to try calling again this evening. We called Wed night and took 30 minutes just to get on hold and then 1 hr and 7 min for her to answer and say its not ready, try later.
