Just called nvc and ask to unlock ds-261 and invoice AOS fee. But unfortunately, Talked to a rude lady and she says she can even touch or do anything with my case until someone put in my information. is that true?

Should I sign the i-864 by blue or black pen? I am asking because someone in our forum got checklist from nvc because they say the signature on i-864 is scanned or copy signature even though it is sign by hand with black pen. Any suggestion?

I was planning to call the NVC from home since I saw 3 N/As this morning, but I just got the CC email. CC is confirmed! :dancing::yes::dancing:

When was the last time you had called NVC? Usually the e-mails come 5 days after the actual CC so either your email came quickly, or your NA's were delayed and you had CC several days ago!

The last time I had called NVC was last week (last Friday, I think -- I was asking NVC what the status of my case was. She said it was assigned with agent. That's what she told me). I checked status online every day. Yesterday it showed PAID yesterday and this morning it was changed to "N/A" around 9 am. Now I got the CC email. I agreed with you that emails usually come 5 days after the actual CC, but surprisingly, I got the CC email.

I newtothelift, sorry you got a checklist, but the good news, everything else is correct, now all you need is writing a simple letter, I hope that's the case.

I've seen cases here where they get a CC after a checklist quicker than the other CC's.
