While submitting financial evidence for AOS, should IRS transcripts be original or photocopies can also do?

Is it true that we have to necessarily ask IRS to mail/courier us our transcripts? Can't we print them directly from IRS website and send to NVC?

Yes you can print them from the irs website.

We sent our tax transcripts and w2's. I think tax transcripts are enough but we sent both to be on the safe side. U never know with NVC.

I sent W2s, tax transcript for last 3 years, pay stubs of the last 3.5 months, and employment letter. ** MAKE SURE YOU WRITE YOUR CASE NUMBER AT THE TOP RIGHT OF EACH DOCUMENT **

Dear VJers, finally I see one N/A on my AOS! My revised scan date is Dec 9th. It was originally Sept 9th but NVC lost my document and I got a checklist. My hubby is calling NVC to confirm... Hope many ppl get CC today....

Yes..Just now I called.the rep name called Arthur..He said wait for 42 days..I said 42days passed..He said call next monday..I supposed to get my case number today..I dont know whats going on..

I will call nvc today but seem no case number for me then since nvc received my case in 29thdec.

That really suck. What they told us is wait up to 42days, now it is 42days and still no news. #######

You only need to submit W2s with tax transcripts if you filed jointly and need to show just YOUR income. Otherwise, tax transcripts on their own are sufficient (and preferred over the entire tax return package).

I believe there is no difference between printed-out/online transcripts and mailed-order transcripts. I printed out transcripts from my printer when I was requesting transcripts online directly from IRS website. Also, I requested them to mail me transcripts via postal. When I received transcripts via postal, they look same (same format, same heading, same footer, etc). So you can print them directly from IRS website. It is much faster. Photocopies/print outs are accepted.
