I haven't been on here in such a long time, but I was out of the country for a while and internet was just so slow there.

Anyway, it seemed that everyone that filed around the same time as me and got a case compete is already with their spouse, except me :(:(. My husband's case received a CC on August 22, 2014 and since then he didn't get an interview yet ANNND now the U.S. Embassy in Yemen is closed. I've emailed neighboring countries if I can transfer his case and pretty much all said no because he has to be a resident of that country for 6 months. I am just so angry right now and frustrated. I don't know what else to do.

Supervisor reviewed my case in 4 days and another checklist. this time they said signatures are copies but they are not. And why couldnt they have told us that with the first checklist  makes no sense

Do you mean your signature, not the preparer's signature on the 1040 tax return? because on the 1040 tax return, The signature of the preparer of course should be copies.

Hello Everyone,

Hope your journeys are going well. Is this the forum for Feb Filers of children of us citizens. Thanks :)

IR-2 visa applicants are welcome here :) It's the same process, just a few different documents for the IV package.

did you sign in blue or black ink? i have read about others getting checklists for authenticity of signatures. If at all possible I would ensure they get a copy of your signature in blue and black to ensure its the same and not a scanned one. resend asap so it speeds up your cc.

On the I-864, Part 6.... my joint sponsor is single/lives alone and therefore does not need to list other persons in her income... therefore for 6-9 (ab) i put "n/a"for name and relationship. My question is for 6-9 © should I put "n/a" or "$0.00" on the income?

Hi everyone,

Please I need some help if anyone has similar experience. I received my case# on 2/17 and was able to pay the AOS fee (shows as paid in status) and submit the DS-261 (shows as completed in status).

The issue is that since the 2/18, after submitting DS-261, I have been calling NVC daily to add an email address to the case, as I forgot to add it when they gave my case# on the 17th, but the agents keep telling me they can’t access my file as the case data are still being finalized or entered.

Not sure what data is still being finalized or entered??? Anyone has experienced something similar? And if yes how long did it take to resolve the issue, as the NVC agents are clueless about the timeframe?

Thanks and good luck to everyone in their journey.
