Can someone help me with question about current individual income on form i-864. How can I calculate my current individual income? Can i just use the number on my W2 for 2014? Thanks in advance for any help.

I use my hourly x 40, then x 52 weeks. So if u make $8 per hour with a 40 hour work week, it would be (8*40)*52

Don't you need to call NVC about your case after 60 days according their own instructions?... I'm waiting for my 60 days in the mid March, and I will start bombarding them with calls every second

It's certainly a good idea, but they've been telling people it can take around 66 days now, because of the snow days and closings they had recently. Seems to have put them behind.

Well my 60 days was Friday which I called on and the person just said wasn't ready and they were behind

If the quantity of cases being reviewed is linear (doubtful) then your file will be adjudicated on Tuesday. I say this because the 19th (Friday) have yet to receive a final decision, the 20th and 21st was a weekend, and your scan date is the 22nd.

yes and no it is just an estimate, but it is base on something. You can not just say I am going to make this much with no

proof. If you was to estimate your current income on hourly wage. you will times pay per hour times 40 times 52 to get a base annually pay, but with a lot of jobs that does not account for overtime, miss work days, bonus and deductions.

That is why you need to send paystubs or employment letter in to vertify income

Thanks so much for your help! So if i have the employment letter, i can just put the exact mount it states on the employment letter right? And another question if you can help. So for the tax transcript, do i need to sign on all its pages even though there is no place ask for signature on it?

Hi,

I have been lurking here for a long time now and have gotten so much useful information, thank you all! I have a question or two that maybe some of you can shed some light on...

We are waiting for our case # (case received 1/29) and I sent an expedite request on 2/9 (the NVC agent said I could do so with just my USCIS number). I got an email from NVC 4 days later requesting phone numbers, addresses, DOBs all of which I had included in my original expedite request, except for beneficiary's country of birth, which I included when I resubmitted the request. I was concerned that they requested info that I had already provided. NVC can't tell me if my request is under review because we don't have a case number yet. Would it be a mistake to try calling the embassy to ask if my expedite request has been received?

Another question: we simultaneously filed for a K-3 visa but NVC is only proceeding with the IR-1 visa. If our expedite request isn't approved, is it possible to request to proceed with the K-3? Maybe this group has some wisdom about whether or not that would be a good idea? I'm aware of the drawbacks of a K visa such as delayed AOS and more expensive. Thanks everybody hope someone has some advice for us.

Supervisor reviewed my case in 4 days and another checklist. :sad: this time they said signatures are copies but they are not. And why couldnt they have told us that with the first checklist :rant: makes no sense
