No CCs all this week? Let's hope there will be many CCs next week..... pray hard all the VJs, and NVC Feb. 2015 filers

Actually there were a few CC's from 12/17 and 12/18, it looks like you missed all the action.

Yes let's hope next week will be more exciting. Hopefully they will be open all week, no snow or holidays.

I been seeing ccs from 17-18 for like a week now its like 3 cc a day its not fair i know the weather is bad but dammmmmmm

I am a few hours from NVC. No snow predicted for this week. Let's hope for a productive week! :)

Scan date 1/20

Marriage : March 21, 2014
I-130 Sent : April 18, 2014
I-130 NOA1 : April 22, 2014
I-130 Approved: November 14, 2014 ( after two service request) 

NVC: 6 months
Received : December 1, 2014
Received DS-261 / AOS Bill : January 1, 2015
Pay AOS Bill : January 9, 2015
Submit DS-261 : January 7, 2015
Receive IV Bill : January 15, 2015 called after AOS showed paid, they released it overnight)
Pay IV Bill : January 23, 2015
Send IV and AOS: January 29, 2015
Scan date: February 3, 2015
Checklist: March 19, 2015 (only need to send south Africa police report)
Case Complete: June 3, 2015 

EMBASSY: 10 months
Interview appointment letter : December 4, 2015
Interview Date : January 21, 2016 medical wasn't complete
Second interview date: April 4th 2016
Interview Result :APPROVED!!!
Visa Received : 4/13/2016 ( they sent us a email stating our visa was ready for pick up)

USA LIFE
US Entry :4/29/2016 
Social Security : 5/10/2016 (filed from the actual office)
State ID: 5/14/2016
Started working!!: 5/25/2016
Finally paid green card fee: 6/24/2016 ( note said we will receive it within 60 days)
Green card in hand: 7/5/2016 10 year green card we done!! 

1st king born: 6/30/2016

April 2017 update: Marriage still going strong, baby boy getting bigger. Life is good

Hi guys,

So happy that I got my case number today. I have a quick question that do I need to wait until i receive the welcome letter from NVC and use its cover sheet to put it on top of my packages? Or I can just use the AOS barcoded cover sheet that I got after the AOS fee show as paid? Thanks for any helps.

nope, no need to wait for the barcode sheet from the welcome package....we used the barcoded sheet from the paid AOS receipt. i don't believe this will cause a problem. infact, I posted about the checklist sheet that follows later via email and most replies said they did not attach this checklist and had no problems. so safe to bet your good to go! get that baby gone!!!!!

Thanks so much for your quick response mrs thb. I use the case number and invoice number to login to fill out the DS-261. But it says it not available and automatically log me out. Is that a system error? Or i just have to wait few day for it to be available? Thank you so much for your help!!!

Please be advised that the case that you have attempted to access is not eligible for further processing by the National Visa Center at this time. Please contact the National Visa Center if you believe that you have received this message in error.

Anyone know why?

You need to wait for the NVC welcome letter with instructions. The DS-261 needs some time to open even after case number is assigned. It's okay. Nothing to worry about.

If my parent filed tax return jointly. My dad is a joint sponsor and my mom is his household member and I need to combine income of them both. so my dad file his own i-864. in part 6 question 5, it asks for annual individual income. what number I should use for this one? is it the income on his W2? and the total income is the adjusted gross income on the form 1040A? thanks for any helps!

May 27th 2017 Biometrics received appointment June 7th, 2017
