11/5/2014 - Case # and IIN assigned

11/6/2014 - Welcome email from NVC and DS-261 submitted

11/7/2014 - AOS fee invoiced and paid

12/2/2014 - Send AOS and IV pack together from Australia

12/3/2014 - IV fee invoiced and paid

12/7/2014 - DS-260 completed

12/11/2014 - Package scan date

2/7/2015 - Case Complete - No checklist

3/17/2015 - Interview - Approved!

Yea me too ok with the nature's wrath but not okay with NVC's backlog. :)

Lol Yea backlog is crazy wonder if they will ever get back to what it was before , I actually don't know what it was before haha! Edited by ItsGonnaBeWorthIt

NVC: 6 months
Received : December 1, 2014
Received DS-261 / AOS Bill : January 1, 2015
Pay AOS Bill : January 9, 2015
Submit DS-261 : January 7, 2015
Receive IV Bill : January 15, 2015 called after AOS showed paid, they released it overnight)
Pay IV Bill : January 23, 2015
Send IV and AOS: January 29, 2015
Scan date: February 3, 2015
Checklist: March 19, 2015 (only need to send south Africa police report)
Case Complete: June 3, 2015 

EMBASSY: 10 months
Interview appointment letter : December 4, 2015
Interview Date : January 21, 2016 medical wasn't complete
Second interview date: April 4th 2016
Interview Result :APPROVED!!!
Visa Received : 4/13/2016 ( they sent us a email stating our visa was ready for pick up)

US Entry :4/29/2016 
Social Security : 5/10/2016 (filed from the actual office)
State ID: 5/14/2016
Started working!!: 5/25/2016
Finally paid green card fee: 6/24/2016 ( note said we will receive it within 60 days)
Green card in hand: 7/5/2016 10 year green card we done!! 

1st king born: 6/30/2016

April 2017 update: Marriage still going strong, baby boy getting bigger. Life is good

Was able to pay the aos bill going with the second link I saw in January's thread.

Finally!!! I was getting paranoid. Just waiting for tax transcripts and employer letter from my cosponsor.

I'm sad reading this. Please hang in there. Contact your U.S. rep and have them inquire about your case. I contacted mine, but he said the NVC is still within the 60days time frame they gave me. I'm sure he'll intervene if it ever goes beyond 60 days. Give it a try, it's a free service...

It used to be a 3 weeks process on average. Now it's that times 3 or 4 well, depending on how lucky or unlucky one is. ????

i spoke to supervisor sue when i was in 60days she promised me to give me update on a friday (that was exact 64 days to be count ) when i called again o that friday she did not talk to me. rep told me supervisor has requested my files. call next week. and when i call on day 68. nothing not a single update. den again i spoke with supervisor sue. she told me its more then possible to get your case complete this week. but nothing on that week too. so now im on day 76.weird NVC is closed. .i lost hope. dont really know whats going on with my files.

Hi Everyone,

Does anyone know if the website changes or if there is a notification when the NVC receives your AOS and IV package. I know NVC received my package last week Monday but I have not received any email or correspondence from them yet.

I recieved an email 10days after my scan date stating the recieved my paper work it will take 60days
