WOOT! One more step along the journey!

Spoke to Yvette at NVC who confirmed all three of our cases were received in the building on 02/18! (26 days from NOA2)

Clock is started for the case number now......

wooho! one step closer!

Marriage : March 21, 2014
I-130 Sent : April 18, 2014
I-130 NOA1 : April 22, 2014
I-130 Approved: November 14, 2014 ( after two service request) 

NVC: 6 months
Received : December 1, 2014
Received DS-261 / AOS Bill : January 1, 2015
Pay AOS Bill : January 9, 2015
Submit DS-261 : January 7, 2015
Receive IV Bill : January 15, 2015 called after AOS showed paid, they released it overnight)
Pay IV Bill : January 23, 2015
Send IV and AOS: January 29, 2015
Scan date: February 3, 2015
Checklist: March 19, 2015 (only need to send south Africa police report)
Case Complete: June 3, 2015 

EMBASSY: 10 months
Interview appointment letter : December 4, 2015
Interview Date : January 21, 2016 medical wasn't complete
Second interview date: April 4th 2016
Interview Result :APPROVED!!!
Visa Received : 4/13/2016 ( they sent us a email stating our visa was ready for pick up)

Finally paid green card fee: 6/24/2016 ( note said we will receive it within 60 days)

April 2017 update: Marriage still going strong, baby boy getting bigger. Life is good

quick question....

i never use IE as I dislike it. must I for completing the DS260? Laura at NVC use IE it works the best. will firefox or chrome work as well? I'm trying to access IE and having problems.....grrrr. I'm being haunted with the anxiety I felt back in 2011 when completing the ds160.

quick question....

i never use IE as I dislike it. must I for completing the DS260? Laura at NVC use IE it works the best. will firefox or chrome work as well? I'm trying to access IE and having problems.....grrrr. I'm being haunted with the anxiety I felt back in 2011 when completing the ds160.

TIME IS FLYING!! 17 days already passed :wow: , im tempting to go visit my husband since I have a couple weeks vacation but we shall see!!!

okay, I know I'm having a 1st world crisis here but.....

how long does it take for them them unlock the ds260?

l was kinda expecting it to be ready once we paid...but as i know understand it....it takes yet another several days for that to be unlocked? is this true? and like how many???

geez, technology has really spoiled me and now I've become an impatient brat!!! :diablo: lol

so like friday or saturday or maybe even sunday.....or is it best to not get my hopes up that high and expect Monday since its the weekend?

what happened, if you don't mind sharing?

The box for the total numbers of immigrating persons in AOS got overlooked :oops:

I talked to 3 different reps at NVC (well, I am an accountant, so I am a little bit strange about being 110% sure ;-) ) and they told me

that everything else was already reviewed and correct (AOS and IV documents) so we are good to go for CC after the review of our new AOS WITH the total number of immigrants. :)

I´ll keep my fingers crossed that you get through without a checklist.

Although it has been a little bit of a shock at day 58 - we are now already into a week of the additional 60 days.

Oh, sorry if I have made you nervous.

It is a little tricky box, Part 3 item 7. Reading the form you really could think it is part of the info for the immigrant person # 6.

Stupid mistake, but it is like it is: a checklist :bonk:
