Got CC on Feb 7, called and confirmed yesterday. But just got a checklist email for my husband's police certificate...?

please call NVC and verify. Might be a false checklist

got case number yesterday and today AOS fees are ready....

Excellent! That's really fast. You see, you DON'T have bad luck I don't know what Soloenta was talking about :lol:

Actually it took them a month to assign a case number for me, then another month to send me the welcome email after that, and another week after that for the AOS fees. I'm glad your case is moving faster. :thumbs:

Hi all,

My IV fee invoiced and I paid it today finally :luv: but my DS260 is no available yet

I got an email saying this (Seems like my 60 days started :content: )

We received documents for your case. Please allow 60 days for us to review your documents. We will notify you with further instructions after we finish our review.

IMPORTANT:

Do not let more than one year pass without contacting the NVC concerning this visa petition. If a period of one year passes from the last date of contact (by telephone, mail, or e-mail) with the NVC, all submitted fees and documents expire. If this occurs, the fees must be paid again and documents must be resubmitted in order to continue the immigration process.

Feb 4th 2015 Case number

Hey! That's great! You must have called to get it invoiced? I'm still waiting to be able to pay mine. Did the letter you received give you a "scan date"?

Yes I called yesterday to update my hubby's address and the good rep reviewed my DS261. Today I got my IV invoiced and paid..I got second email today says they received my documents and takes 60days to review it..Not sure how the scan date email looks like..Hope this the one.. :blink:

They say its about 42 days for a supervisor review. Has anyone or does anyone have expierience with this? About how long will it actually take? Thank you all :)

Im sorry you hear about your checklist. I hope that it gets reviewed quickly and you get your cc soon!

I am just getting into the NVC stage. They just received my paperwork and I am waiting to get a case number. If you don't mind sharing, what did you get your checklists for?

My first one was for correction on AOS and then for sending in-correct police report.

Checklist no. #2 : 2/3/2015
Scan date #2: 2/5/2015
Case Complete: 4/14/2015 FINALLY super-happy-dance-smiley-emoticon.gif

Interview: 5/12/2015

RESULT: Approved (finally on 2/10/2016 after 8 months in AP)

Visa in Hand: ?
POE: ?

Yea that's the one should have a date that they received it that's your scan date

Marriage : March 21, 2014
I-130 Sent : April 18, 2014
I-130 NOA1 : April 22, 2014
I-130 Approved: November 14, 2014 ( after two service request) 

NVC: 6 months
Received : December 1, 2014
Received DS-261 / AOS Bill : January 1, 2015
Pay AOS Bill : January 9, 2015
Submit DS-261 : January 7, 2015
Receive IV Bill : January 15, 2015 called after AOS showed paid, they released it overnight)
Pay IV Bill : January 23, 2015
Send IV and AOS: January 29, 2015
Scan date: February 3, 2015
Checklist: March 19, 2015 (only need to send south Africa police report)
Case Complete: June 3, 2015 

EMBASSY: 10 months
Interview appointment letter : December 4, 2015
Interview Date : January 21, 2016 medical wasn't complete
Second interview date: April 4th 2016
Interview Result :APPROVED!!!
Visa Received : 4/13/2016 ( they sent us a email stating our visa was ready for pick up)

USA LIFE
US Entry :4/29/2016 
Social Security : 5/10/2016 (filed from the actual office)
State ID: 5/14/2016
Started working!!: 5/25/2016
Finally paid green card fee: 6/24/2016 ( note said we will receive it within 60 days)
Green card in hand: 7/5/2016 10 year green card we done!! 

1st king born: 6/30/2016

April 2017 update: Marriage still going strong, baby boy getting bigger. Life is good

Awesome! I thought that people had said they got a date with their letter but maybe this is new. I hope it is too...the sooner the clock starts, the sooner time is up!!! :)
