Doesn't matter who you choose as agent. If NVC has both your email addresses on file, then you'll both get correspondence. Most people choose the US petitioner, but honestly, it doesn't matter.

thanks and good to know.

i will be sure to call nvc in the next few days just to be sure they have both emails addresses on file.

so these just happen I saw a phone call from NH and I said to myself I have to take this, and guess what it was a representative from NVC asking me if i was satified with the customer services that they provide for me today and if a have questions, long story short i said no :bonk: no question and well she told me to have a nice day :cry:

wow!

first I heard of nvc making house calls was to confirm an interview. then, to clarify a cc and now nvc is making house calls for customer service. interesting!!!

Dec. 9 scan date and just got a checklist......I am confused I sent an original copy of my husbands birth certificate-the back had the stamp and signature of the issuing authorities director. I tried to call but can't get through now. Any insight? Can't believe this:(

" ______3 - BIRTH CERTIFICATE:_______________________________________

Please submit this applicant's photocopy of the original document listed above. Each applicant must send

a photocopy of the original birth certificate issued by the official custodian of birth records in the country

of birth, showing the date and place of birth, and the parentage of the alien, based upon the original

registration of birth.

Documents must be from the appropriate issuing authority. Failure to provide the correct document will

delay your case and may result in rescheduling of your interview or refusal of a visa.

The certificate must contain the following information:

Person's date of birth

Person's place of birth

Names of both parents, and

Annotation by the appropriate authority indicating that it is an extract from the official records

If the certificate is a photocopy of the certified original document, it must come from the issuing

government authority and it must contain annotation by the issuing authority indicating that it is an

extract from the official records.

- A baptismal certificate that contains the date and place of birth, as well as both parents names

(providing the baptism took place shortly after birth)

- An adoption decree for an adopted child

- An affidavit from a close relative, preferably the applicant's mother, stating the date and place of birth,

both parents names, and the mother's maiden name

Suitability of Documentation for Immigration Purposes:

For many countries, the U.S Department of State has established country-specific criteria for ensuring

that applicants submit documents appropriate for visa processing. Please go to our website

http://nvc.state.gov/to determine if the U.S. Department of State has issued any country-specific

guidelines for the document requested.

All documents not in English or in the official language of the country where the visa application will be

processed must be accompanied by a certified translation. Your translation must include a statement by

the translator which includes the following:

Translation is accurate

Hello Saylin, i always appreciate your effort to help us(V'J members). I had received the AOS checklist from NVC.

and ,

I am not sure how to fix this checklist and If you dont mind , can you advice me? My spouse lives in USA. She filed the 1-864 with the joint sponsor.

Here are few questions for you:

1. Do both of them( spouse(petitioner) and joint sponsor) have to send the pay stub or job contact papers?

2. Do i suppose to send some kind of financial evidence document? Currently ,i'm(applicant) not living in USA

3. Do we have to send again I-864 file ?

Saylin, thank you in advance for your great co-operation!

Scan date Dec 9, checklist for birth certificate Feb 10.

I spoke to NVC just now. She stated they did not receive the birth certificate of my husband in the package and that she will put in for a supervisor review (42 days for this). Unbelievable since it was in the package of course.

Question now is, can I send photocopy of document now even though a supervisor review was requested? Or will that mess up the process. I can't imagine waiting another 42 days to hear that "no we still don't have it" and then have to wait 60 days more.

Anyone have an experience like this-what happened what did you do?

Thanks for any advice
