NVC Filers - February 2015

I had a look but can't find my package through DHL. When I called NVC yesterday the operator said everything was in place and my file should be sent out. She wasn't sure why it hadn't been. So she sent it for Supervisor Review which I'm hoping doesn't 'overwrite' the expedite and make it sit in a supervisor review queue for 60 days!

Did you check your status on CEAC? mine took until today to change....and when i called on wed she said it should go out in the next few daya. it might just take a few days hopefully they will send it out on Monday or Tuesday I would call and check again on Monday maybe you will get lucky and talk to someone who knows.... best of luck!

I didnt. I sent his pay stubs for last 5 months. Worked for me.

Quick question..

Two passport-style photographs (2" x 2") of beneficiary (on the back, write: beneficiary's full name, date of birth, and case number)

in pencil or black pen??

Got the email this morning scan date 2/3 !! I got a feeling these 60 days are gonna fly by soooo fast!

I called and spoke to a very nice man at the NVC yesterday just to inquire about my case generally. I was concerned because I had misplaced the email of my scan date but I knew it was the 22nd Dec. Anyway he confirmed this was the case and let me know the usual 'wait AT LEAST 60 days' etc etc.

Going by when people have received their review on here and taking into account the issues with weather on the East coast as of late I am hoping to hear back from the NVC regarding my document packet by approximately between the 15-18th which would between 55 and 58 days. Fingers crossed

Got 3 N/As this morning!!!!! Is there any way this happens and it's NOT case complete??!

Me and my husband are in shock! I leave him behind in Australia in 2 days, and it's such a relief to know it won't be long if this is case complete!!

We can't believe it because we called at 11 PM on Friday night and they hadn't reviewed it yet, so not sure how it's possible!

i'm no expert but I can tell you this...its usually a sign that....yes, case complete!!!

if he leaves in 2 days, no problem, you will def know prior to him leaving cuz you're gonna call to confirm

I paid my AOS fee last night, still shows it's in process (will take 2 or 3 business day)Can I send my AOS and IV documents using my welcome letter cover sheet with barcode? Or Do I have to wait until my AOS fee change into PAID ?? Can't wait to start my 60 days clock.. Today is my hubby's birthday ..I miss him so much..

Before I send I have couple of questions

I'm the only sponsor for my husband using I864ez

Part 4.Size of household size.

a.Yourself and the person your sponsoring in this form - 2

b.Your Spouse - 0

e.If you have any other dependants listed on you most recent tax returns - 2 (I put my parents as dependents)

So all together I put number 04 (IS THIS CORRECT)????

After all I sign and date the AOS

Part 7 Information on preparer, If prepared by someone other than sponsor.

Can I leave this part BLANK?? Or should I put NA?

I KNOW WE SHOULD NOT LEAVE ANYTHING BLANK..

Saylin you have been wonderful with you guidance .Thank you!! I was married in 2014 to my wife in the Dominican Republic and our CR-I is currently under review at NVC. I filed my federal taxes mistakenly as single status 2 weeks ago and included that transcript with my AOS package that I submitted on 1-31-15 to the NVC. After reading Your NVC Process Wiki tonight (re: tax filing status) and realizing my error, I filled out the Tax Amendment Form 1040x, to change my status to Married Filing Separately as you recommended. I will mail this to the IRS on Monday. I would just like to verify that this is my best course of action, and I seek any other advice to minimize backlash or interview repurcussions from this. Thank you very much.

I am just getting into the NVC stage. They just received my paperwork and I am waiting to get a case number. If you don't mind sharing, what did you get your checklists for?
