Wow so after getting a CC on December 30 2014, then being told last week I didn't have a CC, someone from NVC actually called about an hour ago and they said my case is finally complete! I don't know if I should believe her or not lol. This process has been hell for us so far.

I'm hoping to get a March interview

USCIS

January 8th 2014 - NOA1

July 10th 2014 - NOA2

NVC

July 17th 2014 - Case shipped to NVC

July 30th 2014 - Case received by NVC

August 13th 2014 - Case number and IIN received by email

August 13th 2014 - DS-261 Form Completed

August 14th 2014 - AOS Fees Invoiced and Paid

September 17th 2014 - IV Fees Invoiced and Paid

September 19th 2014 - DS260 Completed

October 6th 2014 - AOS and IV Packages Received

November 28th 2014 - AOS and IV Checklist (4 items in total. 3 for documents they lost. Called on December 9 and a rep said no checklist for IV....go figure)

December 8th 2014 - Checklist scan date.

December 30th 2014 - Case Compl........NOT. So after not having an interview date yet, I called again on Jan 30th and apparently its in final review with a supervisor.

February 6th 2015 - Case Complete: Supervisor called from NVC to confirm everything has been completed now.

March 27 2015 - Interview Date

March 27 2015 - Approved!

Signed up and joining this thread!

Documents received by the NVC on Dec 22nd. After looking at how long it has taken other people to get their case reviewed this month im estimating a review date of approx. feb 14th.

Question: Is it worth me going through the ordeal of calling the NVC over the next few days just to be told my case is yet to be reviewed? Is there a chance that some cases randomly get reviewed much earlier than the norm for whatever reason?

thanks guys and best of luck

I think it is not worth to call NVC every day. It would be enough to keep track of other members until they reach your scan date and then call if you want to. You could also check the CEAC page to see if your AOS fee changes to N/A (that's how I knew our case was complete) and then call NVC to confirm.

Even if you don't call, if your case is complete you will get an email after a few days. There's nothing else to do but wait until the interview is scheduled, and there's nothing you can do to make it happen faster than the NVC's own processing, so there's no reason to call them either. They will email you the interview appointment right away.

Hope this helps. Good luck.

I would say 18th or 19th is more accurate if by "receive" date you mean they scanned it all into their system.

Hi! My wife sent the I-130 with paid fees and all necessary documents via USPS Signature confirmation on 12/03/2014. Since then we still haven't heard anything!

As I've gathered from VJ, we should receive NOA1 by now, right? . Only thing we have is USPS delivery confirmation stating that the application is received by the USCIS on 5th December! signature confirmation indicates that D Van Arsdale signed it....
