Hi all,

I just submitted my DS261..Under AOS fee it shows N/A..But under IV fee it says Pay Now..When I tried to pay IV fee it says it is not invoiced..What should I do now?Help me plz

You can call and tell them you submitted the DS-261. They will probably review it over the phone and send the AOS and IV invoices.

Has anyone emailed documents in Jan and received an email confirmation?

We emailed on Jan 16 and we still haven't received confirmation. I know someone submitted on Jan 11 and received an email confirmation on Jan 26. We are stressed out a bit since we called and a very rude lady kept saying we should just email them again. What should we do? Should we wait another week before calling them again!? :(

I was going to ask the same thing! We submitted January 25 and still no email. I haven't called yet because I read posts where people called and the reps told them there's no way to check since it's an email, but we'll get the "scan" date when it happens. I don't know what to do either. :(

Not A Tailor submitted on Jan 11 and got the confirmation on 26th. We tried to predict the email date since 26th-28th, 2nd was closed so we're (still) hoping we will get an email around Monday or Tuesday. We really dont want to re-send it since it will push our scan date further. :(

I totally understand, I don't want that to happen to either of us! And it's scary wondering if we're getting to that point. It will all work out in the end, it's just so slow getting there.

Gee, I never realized how hard it is to be so close to the date you might be really sad or really happy at any moment haha. So many posts I've seen here make a lot more sense now. Especially hard watching people with the same scan date or later scan dates get a CC when I'm just waiting to hear something. Not 60 days yet, so not too upset, but it's definitely hard to wonder while everyone's so (rightfully) excited. Leaving my husband in Australia on Tuesday to move back to the States, so that's probably why I'm a bit more fragile haha

We are in such a similar situation! My husband is moving back to the USA when his visa expires on 2 March, I'm staying behind in Australia while this situation winds up. I totally agree that it's SO HARD and frustrating to be close to the date you'll find out. Much worse than earlier in the 60 day count.

I promise that when you get CC you will feel so good and it will all be worth it! Hold on!

I am the beneficiary. My husband is the petitioning USC.

Congrats to all the recent CC! :)

Unfortunately we did get a checklist yesterday, Feb. 5th for AOS (somehow the box of total number of immigrants wasn´t checked - stupid mistake I know).

I searched VJ up and down, googled but couldn´t find a correct answer.

The cover letter says it takes 60 BUSINESS days to review the checklist. What is if the police certificate expires before they review the corrected AOS?

Do we get a second checklist then for expired PCC or is it better to send them a new one with the corrected AOS without them asking for it? Or do we bring a new PCC to the interview?

Can someone confirm that or is there a slight chance it will be 60 CALENDAR days for checklist review?

Thank you so much!

Hi Jamy2014,

we got a checklist in early December 2014 and only yesterday i got a case complete, though my clearance expired at the end of January. So i guess you´re good, but make sure you take a recent one to the interview. But i do think you could just send a recent one with your checklist response.

Good luck :goofy:

Thank you and congrats on your CC, DnKnT! :)

I planned to get a new one for the interview anyways, just to be safe and since it worked for you I am positive now they won´t need another one at the NVC stage since it will expire just a couple of days before/after they should review the corrected AOS.

We made the same silly mistake and the process got delayed by 2 months. I wish you get your case completed soon.

Thank you, rgarg!

Off to the next 60 days of waiting!
