does anyone know a trick to get through to the NVC? i've been calling non stop today and yesterday and have had no luck!

how long after your AOS payment goes from PAID to N/A does it take to get an email confirming case complete?

Just a whole lot of patience. Redial redial redial.

I think for most people it takes a week to receive the CC e-mail.

Nooo..She said I will receive it tomorrow then only I can pay my fee.. :unsure:

Happy for you, for me they took 60 days..
And i want to know the NVC treating to Asian's in a difference way.

I have not heard, or read of Asian being treat different at the NVC. from what I have seen on this site everyone in general regardless of what country had been waiting about the same time for case number. The Philippines petitions are process faster at the USCIS because of the typhoons. However at the NVC, the case is process the same as others. My wife is from the Philippines, I waited 43 days for my case number at NVC. That is one more day then the 42 days they tell you on the phone. K-1 visa usually get their case number faster then the IR-1,CR-1 visa.

Today i received a hard copy welcome letter in my mail box. It is dated 6th Jan. My take, if i wasn't proactive by contacting NVC i guess this is the date i would be receiving the case number :goofy: . I am far ahead coz we called them. Be smart and call call call. We are mailing our AOS/IV package today. We have two petitions.

Mother & Daughter
Mom's CC: May 19 2015
Kid's CC: July 10th 2015(after checklist)
Interview Scheduled: August 27th 2015
Medical Date: Sept 11th 2015(Passed!!!)
Registered our appointment online: Sept 16th 2015
Interview Date: Sept 29th 2015 Approved!!
Visa in Hand: October 1st 2015
POE: 11th October 2015 - Philadelphia

Congratulations!!! :thumbs: Cool to know that your embassy is New Delhi's US embassy. Please let me know when you will get an interview appointment via email. We are waiting for CC and then appointment letter for my spouse for an interview at US embassy in New Delhi. I am curious.. What was your checklist about? My checklist scanned date is Dec 22nd (minor error on AOS. Also, they requested a photocopy of our marriage certificate even though they already have our original marriage certificate.). Have a good trip to India.

Thanks :) We had a checklist for something that we confirmed with NVC twice. We entered incorrect income and despite the fact that my husband's income is much more than the poverty line threshold, but they suggested us to put net income instead of gross income. We waited for 57 days and got a checklist :(

CASE COMPLETE SINCE YESTERDAY!!!! :dancing::dancing::dancing:

AOS Scan date 9-Dic-2015.

Note that when AOS went from PAID to N/A was when my case was complete.

I didn't get an email, it was confirmed by phone.
