hi all, my daughter's case was approved by uscis on january 30 which was yesterday, thank god!!!!!, so happy, so what is the next step, my husband is the US citizen who is filing for her just as he did for me, she is unmarried and is uder the age of 21, she is 16 will she have to do a police record, since her case is alittle different from mine, what will happen next?

IR2/CR2 procedure in the NVC stage is the same as IR1/CR1.

Yes she will need a police clearance.

The next step should be National Visa Center(nvc). They will contact you on next step. pay fees affidavit of support and 60 days wait. police record,

not sure of age guideline for minor.

On January 30, 2015, we sent your case, Receipt Number xxxxxxxxxxxxxx, to the Department of State for visa processing. Please visit our website for general information on Consular Processing.

​my question is, can i call nvc after 2-3 weeks if we already have a case number
