N-400 February 2015 Filers

I am glad to see most of February filers doing really well and hearing good news continuously. It is frustrating though that many of us, including myself (a Pittsburgh filer) are still waiting. Last thing for me was the biometrics. I have not been even put in line yet for an interview!!!

I have a question for those who had the interview: does the interviewer ask about every single bit of information you submitted in the application? The reason why I am asking is that I worked in so many places during the past five years, and I am afraid that the dates I mention in the interview would not exactly match with the dates I submitted in the application (my fault not copying the application before submitting it)! What do you think?

The 100% accuracy of the employment or residence or travel dates is not an issue - I have a similar situation. I changed 5 employers for the last 5 years and in addition to it I was temping for a couple of weeks in a few occasions. For perm jobs I have offer letters that stated the hire dates but since I didnt keep all the termination letters I dont recall the exact ending date at work. I do recall the month so I put the last day of the month.

As far as temp jobs - no records at all (except for pay stubs) so I have an idea of what time of the year it happened (like at beginning of winter of 2012 there was an assignment for three weeks) so I put the first and the last day of January.

That's how my lawyer suggested. Also, my friend put estimated dated on all her employment history on her N400 and successfully got naturallized.

Being Atlanta I wasn't expecting to be scheduled for a ceremony so soon but it looks like there is a good possibility I will be naturalized on 4th July!

I'm a U.S. Citizen today. I was in Paramount theater in Oakland at 8:45 am for 9:15am. The ceremony starts at 10:30 and ended at 11:10. We have a speaker of secretary of agriculture and so on. The new citizens and their friends and relatives were so happy to yell "wow". The woman who led for oath of allegiance said it was an amazing/happiest ceremony which she has ever seen. I registered for vote today and will apply for passport in few days.

I'm done with USCIS.
