So, due to a weird error (that's somewhat my fault!) on the PDF, my apartment number was removed from my application, so it's doubtful I will receive my NOA :cry:

I called USCIS today and spoke to a really helpful lady who updated my address and gave me a case number for that action, which makes me hopeful. I just hope I haven't delayed my case. My fear is that they will get the returned mail and stop my case... Hopefully I caught it in time.

Plus I feel like an idiot!

Yes I did. I attached this form on the top of my main N400 form with my personal email and phone number filled up.

Well hopefully they're just being a little slow. Sometimes the text alerts aren't very reliable. Keep watching out for your check being cashed.

When you get sent a notification for Biometrics, do you also get a text and an email (if signed up)?

Got a text at 11:18pm saying my case was received. Its funny i got a text from uscis at night

Enter 1997 F-1 visa

married to USC November 2005

Dec 21 05...sent I-485 and I-130 to Chicago

Jan 04 06...received NOA for both I-130 and I-485

Feb 21 06...Biometrics appointment (only take me half an hour for the whole process)

Mar 25 06...Received a letter for an interview appointment on May 18, 2006

May 18 06...Interview Approved (but no passport stamp, must wait for Welcoming Letter in order to get passport stamp)

May 22 06...Received a Welcome Letter

May 30 06...Green Card Arrived :-) expired May 2008

Feb 26 08...sent I-751 to Nebraska Service Center

Mar 04 08...check $545 cashed

Mar 08 08...received NOA I-797C

July 17 08...10 yrs GreenCard Arrived

HI everyone!

I submitted my N-400 application on 2/9, it was recieved 2/10 and I just got a text message @11:14pm saying the USCIS has received my application. My check has not yet been cashed.

My GC date is 7/6/10 and my field office will be New Orleans

can someone add me to the timeline please? :)

Still nothing until today... It looks like I always get late processing or late responses from USCIS on all my cases ever, my initial GC application, my conditions removal application, and now my naturalization application, always beyond average waiting times. I am so sigh now.

Anyone can give input on name change during this process? I haven't changed the whole name but corrected the spellings which still falls under name change. I have read that the oath ceremony is different for those who change their names as the judge has to be present.Where do I get more information and schedule for those oath ceremonies? Any ideas?

You need a judicial ceremony as opposed to an administrative ceremony. According to your profile you are in Los Angeles. Los Angeles conducts two judicial ceremonies per month, and there is no mention of administrative ceremonies. So it sounds like even if you have a name change, you will be scheduled for one of the usual ceremonies in Los Angeles that are scheduled twice per month.
